In which there are questionable analogies...

Grr. While I was in the hospital, I decided to try to do a rewrite on this story I had written part of several months, maybe a year, ago. I've wanted to do a rewrite on it for a while now because reading through it feels very juvenile. So, while in the hospital, with my handy-dandy notebook, I decided to do just that. And I got several pages into ( Read more... )

Ahah, I laughed at the obnoxious, sparkly orange pen. I admit, I have definitely done that with pens. I have this really cool pink-orange one that has such a pretty colour that I like to use quite a bit. Other than that and a few other exceptions, I stick mostly to black. It's so hard to find nice-writing pens with good ink flow or comfortable grips. Grr.

And everything I just said is a complete digression and of absolutely no consequence whatsoever, haha.

I've definitely thought of doing the snippets. In some cases, I've definitely found them to be helpful, so thanks for the tip! =)

I think what I'm going to do is just strip the original and go with the new draft, which means that I'll have to come up with an entirely new plotline to figure out how to work it, but I've got a sort-of idea, so it's all good. I do want to write the original story that I started out with, and because it's so different from what I've got now, I think it can work, so I'm really happy about that. It just means I'm going to have to create entirely new characters, which I'm fine with, because I do that for fun anyway, haha.

(I completely agree. You have good taste. Cooked tuna is disgusting. Once, on a vacation in Hawaii when I was a kid, this tour guide guy tried to tell me that this mysterious meat they had put on my plate was actually chicken. It was grooooss; I wasn't fooled. XP)

Thanks for the advice! It's definitely appreciated! <3
