Well it is pretty much official -> We are going to be welcoming a new addition to our family in April of 2009.

You all know that we started trying this month and a gut reaction made me test at home on Friday. Of course I used both of the tests that I had on hand and they were both positive. I was excited and nervous all in the same hand ( Read more... )

Yeah I was a bit surprised myself!! I just hope that everything is ok as I wasn't expecting to have to go back for another blood test.

Congratulations! That was quick! Oh, and with both of my children, I did not have blood tests but did have transvaginal u/s to age the baby. It was done around 8 weeks for each of them.

You are telling me as I was concerned it might take several months and I didn't want to be pregnant during the summer heat!!

I guess I was just comparing what happened this time around with the first pregnancy and I wasn't expecting that kind of answer. The more I think about it the more comfortable I am it is just the 1st 10-12 weeks that I worry about MC.
