Thankful Thursdays, Portland-Style!
1. There are now six late-night food carts on the corner of SE 12th and Hawthorne, up from three several weeks ago! I enjoy having random conversations with fellow noshers at 1 a.m.
2. Cooler fall weather means more time to snuggle with cats.
3. Incredible dining experience at Plainfield's Mayur Indian cuisine with friends. The atmosphere, the attentive service, and the food were all exquisite! I must say that it was one of the best dining experience for me ever.
4. Work sending me to an academic IT conference, which is being held in downtown Portland early next week (hmmmm. Methinks I may have to introduce out-of-town conference attendees to quaint wine bars and beer houses in the downtown area).
5. Feeling urbane and stereotypically Portland-esque at the same time: taking public transit to a show that I'm playing at.
6. Thank goodness for Wi-Fi at local clubs (so I can post this while waiting to perform!).
