1. There are now six late-night food carts on the corner of SE 12th and Hawthorne, up from three several weeks ago! I enjoy having random conversations with fellow noshers at 1 a.m.

2. Cooler fall weather means more time to snuggle with cats.

yes on the snuggling with cats! But, snuggling cats prevent me from effectively waking up in the morning. Ah well, as long as I make it school on time its worth it. I can take shorter showers.

I am looking forward to corrupting the fellow attendees by introducing them to fine microbrew. May have to start a beer-drinking Bird of a Feather session at the conference.

Oh yes. Plainfield's Mayur. My office used to have our annual Holiday party there every year until we outgrew their downstairs dining area. Yum! Do you like Madeira? That is the place I first had it and the love has stayed with me ever since. They have some there that are around 100 years old! Crazy!

Sounds good to me! I went there tonight with a friend at about 2:30am, but unfortunately Potato Champion was all out of fries. The sandwich I ended up getting at one of the other carts was delicious, however.

I think it would be fun to have a late-night food cart meetup this upcoming weekend. :)

And I heart the vegan rosemary tarragon sauce from Potato Champion.
