Night 51: Walk-In Refrigerator

A cool sensation hit Erika as soon as she opened the door that Momo pointed to, a little eager to get started on their "intellectual" field trip now that they reached their destination. Sort of. Her flashlight quickly revealed nothing in the darkness, though Erika supposed she couldn't rule out some sort of person hiding in the room. Yet, anyway. The detective boldly stepped in once she saw no immediate danger and looked around the room again, taking in any detail she could.
Her search revealed only walls, which meant one thing. The entrance to the basement was in this room, hidden somewhere. Normally, Erika denied the possibility of hidden doors and passages when she solved mysteries, but now here she was actively looking for one. How things changed when she was on another gameboard...
"The entrance to the basement is in this room, correct?" Erika had asked Momo for confirmation, but the detective was already on the hunt for said entrance, keeping one hand on the wall and her eyes trained to the floor as she slowly circled the room. It was pretty clear that the detective was enjoying herself, probably a far cry from how everyone else in the group was feeling.
