But how fun was it to wander alone? Maybe she could catch one of the girls in the block hall. Falis looked asleep, and having slept through dinner again, Senna didn't know any better. Maybe she needed the rest. Her stomach was rebelling at the habit, grumbling. Ah, well. Tomorrow, she would....
Enough of that. She had to get going.
Senna changed quickly, and snagged her stuff before creeping quickly to Falis' bed. "Hey," she said softly. "I'm sorry about last night."

"No fucking apologies from you. My choice to get involved," she said slowly, her words slightly slurred. She reached out for Senna's hand. "You fucking die tonight, I'm gonna kill you."

With another squeeze, Senna released her roommate's hand, brushing Falis' hair from her face. "Rest well, okay? I'll talk to you tomorrow."

Less so, now. With the announcement that seemed strange for the place they were in. And the locks that she had noted earlier unlocking just as easily. She watched the door for a moment, the unmistakable sound of people moving in the hall. She blinked once, mien blank, then slowly trod to the door. There had been a flashlight under her pillow. She took that, too.

Putting down her half-eaten mousse (an interesting flavor, though she enjoyed the fluffy texture the most) Aigis quickly began to search for her flashlight. Just as Junpei had said, it was under the pillow. That still struck Aigis as an odd place to keep a flashlight, but the institute was definitely unorthodox. She hit the switch to give it a try, but the bulb didn't so much as blink. She checked it over, noting the lack of batteries.
Certainly I must have some, thought Aigis. She had seen others using their flashlights the night before. With this in mind, Aigis did something she should have done the night before; she began searching the room from top to bottom ( ... )

Agatha found this odd, in the (small) part of her mind that wasn't still swimming in schematics, but the woman didn't seem inclined to detain her, so she just waved at Ema back in the room and set out, humming along to her thoughts, quite cheerful in the knowledge that there were going to be tools.
