His mane was still damp from the ridiculous human cleaning ritual, something that Scar found rather dissatisfying. At the very least he had been able to leave the showers quickly, so the change in tactic had at least worked for now. There was a major downside, however; he had to put up with a certain female's well-meant praise as he

It looked like his plan might have backfired in the end. He may have showered just a little too fast, since the Sun Room was still on the empty side as Zack wandered out into it. He gave a small shake of his head and sighed to himself. It wasn't like it was the end of the world, though. He'd just find a comfy place to sit and look friendly, and he was sure he could pin someone down to talk to soon enough ( ... )

It seemed like Tifa had missed him, but she probably hadn't been searching for him either. Did she know that Cloud was here? Well, she was about to find out, if she hadn't already found him for herself.
Just as Zack moved up behind her, the girl (who was also a good deal older than the last time he'd seen her, and also -- well, more filled out) started futzing with ( ... )

After leaving a simple note on the board, Donna smirked and fell into the first chair she reached, sighing loudly. There were at least some things that could make her feel better. Annoying the spaceman was certainly one of them. Like there was anything better to do.

As soon as he walked into the Sun Room, Sanae let out the breath he'd been holding. It wasn't easy, facing one's mistakes, and he'd been okay with them all at first because things had worked out back in Shibuya. Here, though, things were going completely wrong, and for once, he lacked the control to bring them back into proper order. It would be something to adjust to - he knew he could do it - but first he would give himself some time to act the headless chicken.
And ah, there was someone he hadn't spoken to in a while! Sanae sat down next to Donna, wondering if she remembered him from their brief chats several days ago. He tended to leave strong impressions on people, but one could never be sure - least of all here. "Hello, Donna-san. How's life?" He flashed her a casual smile, noting the smirk on her face. Looked like the answer to his question was at least "decently well".

The face was one Donna remembered, and she had no problems with letting the man have a seat with her. A conversation would be wonderful just about then. Her day had been mostly quiet up until that point anyway.
"Pretty decent actually!" Donna determined since there hadn't been any real mishaps just yet. And because blackmailing the Doctor was it's own kind of fun. "Barring showers, but you can't have everything go your way," she added, twirling a strand of still damp hair in her fingers. Communal showers, honestly! At least the weren't co-ed. "You?"

He shrugged and said, "Okay, I think. Hit a rough patch really recently, but like ya said, can't always have the stars alignin' how ya want 'em." Couldn't always have the power to realign them yourself, either.

The shower was quick as usual but admittedly refreshing. The headache and dizziness were gone for the most part, and he felt like he could actually think clearly now. Maybe he'd simply been suffering under the weight of accumulated stress. At least, he certainly hoped that was all it had been. Anything else was an unknown factor, something unpredictable and thus unpreventable. That was the last thought he wanted to entertain. It was far better to focus on what he could control.
Klavier pulled away from his nurse when they entered the Sun Room, pretending to be too focused on squeezing and pushing aside damp hair to hear her useless words about resting up. There was no time to humor her. Instead he headed right for the bulletin board for a little damage control. He hadn't seen Kristoph in the showers... probably a good thing, since that wasn't exactly the ideal place to confront an irritable brother. But his absence was troubling. He hadn't seen or heard from Kristoph for several days already, and it was starting to feel ( ... )

Out of pure instinct, Klavier flashed a bright smile down at her. No harm done, after all. And best to reassure any fear of antagonism in a place like this. In fact, he'd opened his mouth to wave off the apology. But he didn't. Instead, he blinked down at her with... a far more openly surprised expression than he may have normally allowed. Her face. And her voice. She looked just like...

Maybe she was just imagining the recognition part. Maybe she just looks like someone he knows, like a kid sister or something. That made much more sense.
"Do I know you?" Ema couldn't keep the slightly-defensive tone out of her voice. She had had too crappy a day to even try.

"You are welcome to join me, Furudo-san." she said, moving her sketchbook out of the way to a place where it wouldn't bother Erika or get wet from the shinigami combing her hair.
"How was your night? I hope this morning wasn't too jolting for you. It tends to be for about the first week."

Somehow, with horrible spelling, the hunter managed to leave a note for Namine on the board. Once that was done, she sat down and closed her eyes, leaning her head back against the cushion.

Her hair was still damp, so the nurses wouldn't let her outside, but thankfully, she found who she was looking for sitting on one of the couches and sleeping. Kagura stood in front of the other girl, arms crossed and rather obviously upset over something. Though whether she was on the verge of tears or an angry outburst, it was difficult to tell.
"Alita-san," she addressed the girl, hoping she'd wake up at the very least. It was a bit difficult to be upset at someone who wasn't even awake to notice. "There's something we need to talk about."

Cracking one eye open, Falis took in the freshly showered girl before her. Was she upset? The mind haze was making it hard for the hunter to connect the dots. Besides, that was a boring child's game, anyways.
"Hm?"
