It was dark in the hallways, darker than it seemed like it really should have been, enough that it felt like the feeble beam of her flashlight barely did anything. The place was a whole lot creepier at night, but Yuuko kept telling herself she had to be imagining a lot of it. Maybe she just wasn't completely better yet. Maybe she was still seeing things that...didn't make sense.
After all, why did she have a flashlight under her pillow? The staff likely didn't supply patients with those just in the off chance there was a power outage, not when they could be used as weapons by the more dangerous ones. And why were so many people out wandering in the hallways, too? It was possible they all found their doors open and decided to wander out like she had, but...so many of them?
Maybe it was better to not think about it too hard. Yuuko sighed quietly and opened the door that led out into the hallway.

On went the flashlight and Harley made her way down the hallway. It was strange, but this was the first time she was relieved to be out of the room and away from so many people she knew and cherished. It was pretty depressing when she stopped to think about it. She sure hoped she could figure out a way to get them back quick. There was no way she could put up with this every single day.

On to the next hallway, then. Once they'd left the larger hallway he knew that they were safer. Attacks in these places were almost unheard of, and they were near to Sakura's room. This hallway as well had a few patients lingering, but most of them seemed to have partners, and in these corridors, it was likely that people were simply on their way to meet other members of their team. He continued on, attentive and alert but not extremely wary. Shikamaru slid the switch of his flashlight forward and although the circle of light was aimed firmly on the ground a few feet ahead of him, he still felt more comfortable in its presence.

With her trusty flashlight in hand, she quickly trotted down the hallway, completely determined to complete her mission. The sooner she was done, the sooner she could return to her room.

Cloud felt like something of a trespasser walking into the woman's block, but it wasn't anywhere near awkward enough to make him walk back out. If 'Hanna' was anything like 'Yuffie,' she wouldn't stay in her room long after the door was unlocked. That would be too easy. Still, it was necessary that they check.
F17, Kenshin had said. Sure enough, the numbers were listed the same way here as they were in the male blocks. He pointed toward the third hall in one final check.
