Naminé realized all too late when she returned to her room that she had neglected to ask where Kairi's room was. There was a good chance that she was close by, but at the same time... there was a chance she was all the way in the very last halls. Or maybe she had already left

Kiden had almost been waiting for it, with some edge of anticipation. She wasn't sure why, but the prospect of a night (hopefully sans bugs) would be better than the days. Not that she had anything against the days, but ... that thought hung as she picked up the flashlight and walked into the hall.
What she had gathered throughout the day unnerved her. The idea that her 'power' was 'dampened' whatever that meant. She picked a direction and headed down the hallway, flashlight off, staying close to the wall.
Someone else was there, but they looked rather short as she neared them. "...hey..." She said softly, but her voice sounded too loud in the quiet hallway.

"Hello! Are you looking for someone?" She asked, wondering if this girl was also supposed to meet someone. Well, perhaps this girl had seen Kairi or Roxas, at the very least... even if she did not, Naminé wouldn't have minded the company.

Then she held out her hand. "...Kiden. I don't think we've met before?" Wasn't she all nice tonight.

"I'm Naminé," She smiled, taking Kiden's hand and shaking it briefly. Kiden... the name didn't ring any bells. Naminé could only assume that she simply had missed this girl or the girl was new. "I don't think we have... but it's nice to meet you anyway."

The copper headed girl had slid out of her bed reluctantly, because after all, the bed had been warm, and well ... the floor was cold. Yet, she decided that it would be much better to get out of the room and instead go off and find her two friends. They couldn't have gone too far, she decided, and as such, quickly scurried around her room grabbing at the items that she knew she would most likely need ; her flashlight, and a single pen.
Kairi never knew if she had to write or not, after all.
Taking a single look around her room, the princess of heart took in a deep breath before silently sneaking out the door, turning her flashlight on.
She only hoped Sora wouldn't be too mad at her for this.

It took him almost the entire night, and he was much worse for the wear, but he'd made it. Not that there could be any meeting at this point. Simon and River were still busy patching up those other two patients that had been diced up nice and pretty.
Still, as captain, he felt that he had to make contact. If they were waiting, he had to show up, even if it was ridiculously late. He found them easily, seeing as they were the only two patients still in the hallway. Inara and Kaylee.
Seeing the two of them together reminded him of how upsetting it was that they were being put into this sort of situation. Still, it seemed like both of them had avoided any serious injuries thus far (unlike him), and if he had any say in it, things would stay that way.
Hobbling over to them, he swallowed his pride and slumped against the wall. Clearing his throat, he sighed. "Nice evening we've been having," he grunted.

"Mal!" Inara rushed over to him, resting her hand gently on his shoulder and trying to help ease him to the ground while he supported himself on the wall. A quick glance down revealed a bloody mess of an ankle. It seemed to be the work of something not unlike the rats she'd faced on her first night. Glad that he was well enough to have made it there, Inara fixed him with a frustrated look.
"This is, what, your second night here, and you already nearly got yourself killed?"

The mechanic ran to Mal's other side and helped the Companion get him to a sitting position. She knew he'd been in worse scrapes than this--in fact, he got a wound worse than that one just about every job--but on Serenity, at least, they had an infirmary that was as equipped as Simon could keep it with state-of-the art medical technology. It was kind of ironic that they were in a hospital and couldn't get proper supplies.
"What happened?"

But the point was that he could rest now. He'd reached his destination and while the whole group wasn't gathered like he'd hoped, at least he had made contact with everyone.
But that wasn't true.
Choosing not to respond to Inara, he glanced at Kaylee, muttered, "Monster cat," and left it at that. He was far more concerned with a certain other detail.
"Where's Zoe?"
