There was a knot in Sai's stomach as he was led back inside to the cafeteria. It was an unfamiliar feeling, and he tried to ignore it. What was it? Was he actually uncomfortable with his decision? He couldn't afford to be. This alliance with Itachi was crucial, and he'd just have to try and make sure the others saw it that way

Ah, finally, out of the greenhouse. Yukari could only do something like that for so long, especially when the company you had was... pretty weird. There was something about that girl that left an off feeling in her, even if the stranger looked dazed for the most part.
Oh well, no use pondering it so much when it didn't matter in the end. After entering the cafeteria and getting whatever looked good (and hoped it tasted just the same), Yukari sat down at whatever empty seat looked best and began with her food.

Her meeting with Archer had, at least, calmed her down some. Enough so that she felt she was mostly normal.
"Ah, food, right..." Mion looked over her meal and couldn't help but grin a little. At least the food here was always good, and that... was something. With that in mind, she sat down at a random spot and almost began to eat, when she noticed who was across from her. "... Yukari?"

With a small nod, Yukari countered, "Mion, right?" It wasn't hard to remember, it was a fairly simple name.

Leon picked up a tray, not especially thrilled with the lunch selection for the day. He'd never really liked fish. He found an empty table, and started absently munching on french fries, musing over what little information he'd gotten from Javert. The experiment that he'd undergone didn't sound too horrific, but there had to be lingering side effects. Maybe they were testing some kind of viruses on the patients? That fit in with his theory that Umbrella was connected to this place, even if it was indirectly.
He continued looking blankly at the table, apparently unaware of his surroundings. In truth, though, he was listening for the sound of anyone approaching. He didn't want to be taken off guard.

On its own, the statement meant little, because Diva knew well that a lot of somethings weren't right here. However, her Chevaliers weren't just something. Her blood wasn't just something.
It was everything. It made life and took it away. So...
So the Chiropteran was in a disgruntled state of mind when she came to the cafeteria. She wanted away from the failure, but now in the sea of edible bodies, she wanted to go back and kill it. Hurt it. Why had she come here?
Diva sighed and stopped suddenly, paying little attention to her surroundings. She idly smoothed a length of hair between her fingers, bringing it closer to her face. She still smelled like blue roses. She was still Diva.

They did everything to make her unhappy. She'd never understood what was so unforgivable about that.
Diva dropped the hair in her grasp, letting it fall back to its place over her shoulder. "Are you talking to me?" she asked pointedly, flicking her gaze to the man without actually turning her head. Oh, she'd heard everything he'd said, but that only meant she had to pose the test. To be treated as less than she was would do no good to her patience.

Even the fish were beyond recognizable...
Before acquiring his meal, he had good hopes of at least eating something he liked. Those same hopes instantly sank through the floor as soon as he lay eyes on what was supposed to be called 'fish'. Making a face, he carried his plate towards an empty seat.
These humans had remarkably talent for ruining an otherwise perfectly fine meal, Scar thought as he glared at the offensive excuse of a fish. Why did they insist on heating everything?! Didn't they ever hear of 'eating things raw'? Apparently not...
With a sigh, he began scraping away the breading with his fork.

Faust had enjoyed his talk with the man outside, only realizing as he was led away by the nurse that he had failed to get his name. How rude he was, to not remember to offer his own. perhaps he would see him again and they could talk.
For now, food seemed to be on the agenda, something he wasn't overly fond of, but it seemed to make the staff happy and he was in a decent mood, so, why not? The fish looked fine, though he wasn't fond of breading the meat, and a salad would do wonders to improve his mood. Picking a seat next to a gentleman who looked close enough to his own age, he sat down with a small smile.
Reply
His green eyes glanced up as a man took the seat next to him. "Good afternoon." he greeted politely.

He found he had less chance of ... upsetting people that were closer to him in age. He looked down at his food and started in on the salad, choosing food over conversation for the moment. Now that he was eating, he found he was actually rather hungry.

Finally relieved from that annoying maggot.
Albel entered the cafeteria with an even worse mood than he had left with this morning. Thankfully the place wasn't too crowded yet, which allowed the Elicoorian to pick a secluded seat away from the other scum. He didn't feel like getting bored by anyone right now. Not that anyone ever took that into consideration...
Occasionally, he'd glance around the area to see if a certain blue-haired worm had entered. He had failed to spot him on the Recreational Field, but he knew that could have any sort of reason. But considering most of the scum was usually in one place during meals, he figured he'd see the meddling idiot soon enough. Not that he intended on approaching him during the day (those stupid wenches would interfere anyway), but at least he'd be sure he was still present. It wouldn't do to try and maim someone when the maggot was no longer here.
Reply
He didn't even pay much attention to where he was going as the nurse then proceeded to help him find a seat. Oh, he expected to be taken to someone sitting alone. They apparently had issues with that here. What he didn't expect was to recognize the person when he finally got himself situated.
"You're still alive?" he growled.
Reply
The warrior had fought him a few nights ago. Though the fight had been entertaining enough, some ugly nightshift nurse had to interfere. Which the maggot had tried to protect, even. Foolish idiot...
"No, worm. This is just my corpse sitting here having lunch." Albel snarled. "Of course I'm still alive or I wouldn't be sitting here, you dumb maggot! If you can't do anything but ask stupid questions, just shut the hell up."
Reply
Not to mention he really needed to expand his vocabulary.

Esmeralda wasn't quite sure what to make of the... fish here. Or these "chips." She stared at the plate intently as she waited for that Armand to find her, nibbling on the vegetables as she considered eating what they put in front of her.
It wasn't going to kill her, that she was sure of. Maybe just a little bit of the... whatever coated fish. Was it breadcrumbs?
...whatever it was, it was delicious. It was like heaven on a plate. Why did the food here have to be so good?!
So the gypsy ate to herself in bliss, even leaning back in her chair to enjoy it. Maybe she should try making it herself once she got back. Phoebus, Quasi, and Djali would like it, she thought.

He was hit with the smell of fish once he entered the cafeteria, and he bypassed the serving table entirely. It made his stomach turn. He'd had a big breakfast, and what was left of it protested strongly against fish for lunch. He hated fish...Unlike the woman a couple of steps away who looked like she was having a foodgasm.
"Wow, is this stuff really that good?" Badou leaned over the back of her chair and swiped a couple of fries. As he did, he noticed the guy standing across the table...probably introducing himself. Should he be saying something? Had he just scandalized another woman? He raised the hand that wasn't full of fries and flashed the guy a peace sign. "Don't mind me. I'm here for the food."
Reply
And then there was that hand that flew right over her shoulder.
"Hey!" Out of instinct, Esmeralda's first reaction was to slap at the offender's hand. Hey, it wasn't her fault--anytime someone would sneak up on her, it was to either grope, attack, or arrest her. It wasn't even about the fries, really; it was more to do with the fact that she didn't enjoy hands that close to her breasts, whether intentional or not.
Once she realized what the situation was about, she turned her head upwards and narrowed her eyes. "You could have asked, you know."
