Guy let out a sigh of relief as he made his way out onto the field, glad to have some fresh air and sunshine after going so many days without it. That was one of the hardest things about being kept in this place, in his opinion. At least during their journey they had been outside more often than not

"No, João. Smoking is bad for your health, even when you are outside!" She answered, giving him a stern look that somewhat reminded him of a teacher even despite the fact he had never been to school. "We could give you some nicotine patches instead."
But the hobo shook his head, not wanting those either. The nurse sighed and pressed a ball into his hands. "Now, behave." she said before heading off to attend to another patient.
He let out another disappointed sigh, though he had better hopes of finding some smokes tonight. That map he got from the bulletin board would definitely come in handy. Not having much better to do, he began dribbling the ball to try and keep himself a little occupied. It seemed less boring than sitting around, at least.

Rhode had been here a whole week before he got here himself, and Allen had been here for a while as well, apparently. There was a large chance of this man being here longer too.
"My name's Tyki, what's yours?" The Noah asked, grinning. He couldn't really call this guy 'redhead' or 'boy', and considering you usually needed a name to call someone by, he might as well ask for his real one.

"Nathan Petrelli," he replied in the same tone he usually adopted when introducing himself. "I woke up a couple of days ago. How was your first night?"

"Don't pick any fights, Jonathan." She insisted on a stern tone before leaving him to his devices. The warrior replied with a 'hmph' before taking a spot as far away from the playing scum as possible. He had learned the hard way what happened when he got too close to them, and wasn't about to make the same mistake again.

Heh. Balls.
Some bloke was sitting off by himself, and the reaper made his way over. Maybe they could bond over how much they hated their entire lives.
"Hi there," he said wanly, wiggling the finger of his right hand. "Mind if I hang out?"

Just to prove it was a free country and he could do what he liked, the reaper sat down next to the man and curled his bandaged arms around his knees.

Seating himself on the grass - making sure he was out of harm's way - he merely observed the humans present on this area. It wasn't like he had anything else to do, after all.

Toboe finished wolfing down his food as the voice-from-the-wall announced that they were going to be going outside. Outside! And the sun was shining, though it felt kinda weird feeling the sun against human skin instead of wolf fur.
He happily kicked off his slippers and ran awkwardly around the open space (it was so much easier to keep his balance with four legs and a tail, and he wasn't used to being so slow,) before flopping down near a dark haired man.
"Hi!" Toboe greeted. "Why're you just sitting here? It's so nice out!"

Even despite the humans playing a small distance away, Scar happened to enjoy being outside. Being inside for so long was almost claustrophobic, and the fresh air was at least something he was a little familiar with even with the different climate compared to his home world.
The King had noticed the young boy approaching, taking note of the way he ran around the field before sitting down next to him. This was enough to interest the former lion, even when the first sentence he spoke somewhat reminded him of Simba.
"Good morning." he greeted back politely. "I suppose I am a little too old for these games." Not to mention that he didn't even understand the logic of kicking a round object around the field.
"Shouldn't you be playing along?"
Reply
"Nah. That's a pup's game."
Evidently he was forgetting (or didn't notice in the first place) that his behavior was very puppy-like, too. And that he was only two years old.

To be honest, Sync was expecting something more out of his conversation with Asch, but considering that they weren't exactly on friendly terms and that the redhead wasn't the most social person he shouldn't have been surprised. Oh well, it wasn't as if it was all that big of a loss. It would've been nice to have someone else to leech information off, but it wasn't like he couldn't do it himself.
"Will this be your first time outside, Stephen?" The prospect of getting away from the abnormally clean smell of the hospital was a tantalizing one. The God-General simply nodded at his nurse's words, following her as she escorted them out onto the field, glancing around the open space once they stepped onto the grass. It wasn't long before he was left to his own devices and Sync figured a few laps around the area would be a good start to his exercise.
However, before he could even begin to stretch he managed to catch sight of a familiar shade of blond from several yards away. Well now, wasn't that a ( ... )

Unlike Guy, Sync hadn't met enough people to really care if anyone saw him with the blond, though it wasn't like that would've changed anything anyway. Maybe if he were lucky enough he'd be able to drive the swordsman into attacking him, which meant he could use their age difference to his advantage and put all the blame on Guy.
He smiled at those thoughts, grabbing his ankle and pulled it back behind him, leaning forward and straightening his leg as much as he was able to thoroughly stretch the muscle. The God-General waited a few moments, mentally counting to himself before he repeated the same process with the other leg.
"So how long have you been here again? I don't think I caught it last time." Not like there actually was a last time, but Sync didn't bother to correct himself.

The God-General's response to his question seemed like a lie, but it wasn't like Guy hadn't expected for the teen to open up to him. In fact, if Sync had really started complaining, he most likely wouldn't have wanted to listen.
"Why should I tell you?" Guy wasn't sure what the harm would be in answering, but he knew that anything Sync did probably had some ulterior motive, and there was no reason to give him any information.
In the meantime, he scanned the field to see if Luke, Jade, or even Asch was around, but there was no sign of any of them. He did spot Ion, though he was glad that Sync was bothering him rather than the Fon Master. He could bear the God-General's attitude if it meant that he wouldn't go pester poor Ion.

Clark wasn't very interested in sports right this very minute. Now that it was second shift, he'd had the opportunity to check up on the bulletin board and, to his relief, he at least knew that Claire was alive and Badou was...relatively fine. Wonder what he looks like? The glimpses he'd gotten last night weren't very good; it'd been dark and couple that with being pretty much delirious from pain and the blood loss, Clark could safely say that he really had no idea what the other patient looked like. All he could really recall was Alkaid(?) stripping off her shirt for bandages and him lying there on the floor thinking he really wasn't supposed to be watching this but unable to really turn around ( ... )

He was still a little bit taller than the other guy but Clark had a feeling that if he was to walk down the street, he'd definitely get some stares and attention with that long fire red hair and the eyepatch. Clark didn't recognize his face, but he definitely recognized that voice - it was one of the things he still remembered from last night.
"You're Badou?" Clark asked. Better to be make sure he was thanking the right guy - he thought this was the right patient, but hey, he could've remembered wrong.

God, he just had to save the space case. Being the nice guy he was, he made things easier for both of them; "So what's up?"
