Matt woke up to find himself on his stomach with his nose buried in his pillow amidst a small but but steadily growing puddle of drool. He made a disgusted noise and shoved the pillow off the bed before rolling over onto his back and staring blearily at the blur that was his ceiling. Only half awake still, he flailed wearily to the side of the bed with one hand in the hopes of making contact with his glasses - the pair he kept handy for when he couldn't be bothered with anything else.
His hand failed to locate even the bedside table, however, instead smacking hard into a piece of furniture that most certainly hadn't been there the last time he checked. "Ow!" He grumbled, put off by this development, and sat up to glare at the shape of what could only be a small dresser. He didn't own a dresser

Her eyes skirted the room quickly, taking in the beds, desks, dresser, and closet. It was Western style, not the traditional Japanese style that Rika's house was. It looked more like Takato's room, even though this room was a lot cleaner. There was nothing to tell her where she was exactly, just bland items in a bland room. Well, then. It seemed it was time to further explore her new surroundings. If this was the human world, she would find Rika and they would figure out her to return her to her true self, and if it was a new area in the Digital World... well, things change constantly there. If it was the Digital World she had confidence that she would return to normal

Though he had yet to appreciate the true gravity of the situation, Fwiffo knew there was something wrong from the moment he opened his eye. His room on the Starrunner (that is, the captain's room, which he had moved into at the earliest opportunity for what were perfectly justified security reasons -- after all, Pluto was right on the edge of the solar system, and you never knew what might decide to attack at a moment's notice --)was lined with the heaviest shielding known to Spathikind; in fact, it was so thick that a simple door could not suffice in matters pertaining to ingress and egress. A short tunnel pierced the probably impenetrable walls, capped on either end with doors made of similar material and also including state-of-the-art locking mechanisms. Or at any rate, they had been state of the art twenty-five years ago, when the Starrunner was commissioned...In fact, one of the things Fwiffo had been meaning to ask during his meeting with the Safe Ones was a nice battery of upgrades for his entire ship. It wasn't safe, flying

Unfortunately, Fwiffo's newborn relief was doomed to be short-lived. No sooner had he begun to extricate himself from the blan-chet when he finally got a good look at just why his body had behaved so oddly. For a long moment, he was completely petrified, stunned past all reaction by the sight.
And then the flimsy door flew inward, and a stange hunam dressed all in white rushed in, bared her teeth at him, and began advancing, chirping something completely incomprehensible about the color white.
There was only one thing a poor Spathi could do in such a trying situation, and Fwiffo's nerves had already been stretched to the breaking point by the emotional calisthenics he had previously gone through as he tried to convince himself that he was in no danger. Being proved completely and utterly wrong at that point was too much for him, and there might even have been an audible sound to accompany his nerves shattering.
If there was, however, it was drowned out by his panicked shrieking.
The woman who had just been thinking out loud that perhaps another color besides a stark white might be less shocking to the new patients apparently had her point proven at that very moment, when Francis took that moment to sit up and scream

Fwiffo's eye was wide enough to expose the whites all the way around, though of course he couldn't see that for himself. He choked repeatedly, then finally managed to suck in a lungful of air, only let it loose in a barrage of words that matched his earlier shriek in both shrillness and incomprehensibility.
"Don't come here me!" He pushed himself back into the corner, only panicked harder as he realized that he was trapped. Worse yet, his entire lower half was hopelessly tangled in the blan-chets. "Don't eat me!" he wailed, holding his tiny (hunam! howwhywhatwasgoingonhere?!) claws in front of his eye. Hot panic-tears started welling in his eye -- but Fwiffo didn't even know what tears were. Somehow, the hunam must have already struck him, even though he hadn't seen her move! He was bleeding! "No!" he shrieked, ineffectually flailing his arms to keep her from hitting him again. "Don't hurt me! No!"
The first thing Mori noticed was not the change in the sheets, or the difference in the size of the room, or even the fact that he wasn't wearing his usual sleepwear. It was the shift in the smell of the air. He would have remained asleep a little longer if it hadn't been for the slightly tangy smell of cleaning fluid, something the maids in his house never used. His house usually smelled of polish, wood, tatami, paper and sometimes of Piyo-chan when the little chick decided to sleep with Mori instead of her nest. Groggily opening one eye, he sat up and took a minute to take in his surroundings

Chopper opened his eyes slowly, disoriented. What had just happened…?
White filtered into his vision. …White? But it had been so dark in Thriller Bark… Oh, but that was right: the clouds had cleared and the sun had risen…
…The sun? The sun! Everyone's shadows!
"Sanji! Zoro! Robin!" he shouted, bolting upright and looking around frantically. The haze of awakening had cleared, but he wasn't sure if he was really awake. This empty white room wasn't in the Thousand Sunny, and he hadn't seen a room like it anywhere in Thriller Bark…
And what was that smell?
A hand went to his nose, to try to block out the odor. As soon as he felt the unexpected sensation of skin touching skin, he jerked the hand away from his face and held it out in front of him to inspect.
The hand was small, too small. The arm, too; it was skinny, and far too unlike his arms in Heavy Point. He couldn't have woken up in Jumping Point or Horn Point, but the arm and hand were also too small to be either of them, and there was no fur

Chopper turned his head slowly away from her to look under the bed. Realizing that only one arm and leg were actually hidden under it, he slid quickly to hide correctly. The human lady giggled again
