Dinner had been pleasant! Still commoner food, but very good. And the tea! Tamaki was still sipping at his when the intercom switched on and the doors unlocked. He didn't entirely understand what was going on, but something had upset the Head Doctor very much. Which was perfectly alright with him

Hikaru and Kaoru burst into the room with a flourish, running to either side of Tamaki's chair and pulling him out of it. "Good evening, Milord! No time to be sitting around now--we've got to get to work." They sat him down on one of the beds.
"Now," Hikaru said solemnly, "We've got something to ask you. Have you been telling people we're knights again?"
Reply
"We know how you like to really get into character, but maybe we shouldn't encourage the Institution Game. You are Tamaki Suoh, not whoev- no, wait. Telling people we're knights really is in character for you.... Forget we said anything, Milord."

"Oh honestly!"
Tamaki sighed heavily. He did need to rest before the nighttime rush! But the twins weren't here every night, he couldn't possibly expect them to understand. And it wasn't that he minded the teasing, he just had other things on his mind at the moment.
"My work doesn't begin until I have patients to take care of," he explained, running a hand through his hair. "And if tonight's anything like last night was...."
He certainly couldn't be distracted! "Are the two of you here to help, or just to tease me? Because you can do that any time. And besides, wouldn't you rather me introduce you as knights? Everyone else here is something interesting."

The older of the two twins sat down next to Tamaki, suddenly serious. Or as serious as he ever got when they were teasing someone, at least. "We'd like to be introduced as ourselves, Tamaki. So what if there are fairies or dragons or Harry Potter or the Shinsengumi here? We may just be high school students, but that's okay." He shrugged. "We'll help tonight, but you've got to promise to stop introducing us as people we're not. It makes it pretty awkward for us later, you know."

Kratos walked in quietly, muttering a "good evening" before moving off to the side as usual to stand and wait (would he always be the first healer there?). The night was still young, so of course there would be zero patients- at the moment.
And it seemed Tamaki was busy again with his young friends. Kratos smirked softly at the memory of the conversation he and Leon had had concerning those three. Ah, to be young and have time to play around...

"Yo," he greeted the assembled patients, following Light's example. Being here meant Misa would probably let go of his arm now, and he wasn't particularly looking forward to that but it couldn't be helped. It had been nice while it lasted.

Her bow was curt but respectful and not as deep as it normally would have been because she was conscious of how high her sweater would ride up. Accidentally flashing Light wouldn't have been a problem but Sanji was behind her too and Misa wasn't that kind of a tease.
She noticed the twins there with Tamaki and her smile became just slightly more rigid. She wasn't yet sure if she completely disliked them or not.

This was perfect. Light, Misa, and...somebody else all coming into the room together, clinging to each other. It didn't get any better than this.
Hikaru wished he had a couple of roses on hand. Hosting Misa in front her boyfriend would be hilarious. ...Well, maybe they still could. The older twin shot his brother a knowing look.
"Welcome, gentlemen and fair lady," he said elegantly, bowing deeply. Then he jerked a thumb over to where Tamaki was still standing. All pretensions of politeness and elegance vanished. "...Is what he'd say, anyway. Hi."

Raine stood just inside the doorway for a few moments, wondering what she should say, or if she should. If someone asked where Reinforce was, she didn't exactly have any answers.
People vanished all the time here, though. News traveled fast, and she knew Tamaki at least had lost someone he was close to--there was no explanation, she was just gone one day. So if anyone wondered... they might be able to simply guess.
Raine sat down at a desk and took out her book; she didn't feel like talking, and it was a distraction.

Tamaki, on the other hand, did feel like talking. Especially when the twins abandoned what he'd asked them to do to do...well, what they normally did. Everyone else listened to him, why couldn't they? He'd nodded to Misa and Light - he didn't know the other man - but it was clear he wasn't going to be able to ask what they could do, or were willing to do, without interrupting.
And it was getting too crowded in here. And Tamaki didn't know who had even basic first aid skills and who didn't.
"Ah... I think maybe now would be a good time to start moving people into other rooms? We aren't going to have room for any patients if this keeps up!"

She also hadn't missed what the twins were doing, and this was not a time to be goofing off; she could probably have made them listen to her even if they ignored their friend, but tonight she just didn't have it in her; so, sending them away was the best solution. Consequently, she wasn't certain about leaving them in charge of hurt patients, but she supposed they could at least be trusted to get someone else if one of their charges suddenly took a turn for the worse.

"Ah! Attention, please?" Tamaki could only spare Ed a quick glance and half-smile when he came in. "Hikaru, Kaoru? If you're going to be social, could you perhaps move to the room next door? It's part of the clinic, but we're getting so crowded in here and patients are going to start coming in...."

Ed ran to the next corridor, clutching the books to his chest, not wanting to waste any time in case Fox turned up. He'd just been delayed, that was all. He wasn't going to start worrying even if a sort of dread had settled heavily in his stomach.
He stepped into the clinic, a little surprised at how many people were already there considering how early it was in the night. They needed a bigger room.

His part fulfilled, Kratos made his way over to the man that Tamaki had pointed out. "Tamaki sends his apologies- as you can see, he's rather tied up with a patient right now." It was a little ironic, considering how many people had shown up earlier stating that they were there to help. "If I could be of any assistance in his stead...?"
