Dinner had been pleasant! Still commoner food, but very good. And the tea! Tamaki was still sipping at his when the intercom switched on and the doors unlocked. He didn't entirely understand what was going on, but something had upset the Head Doctor very much. Which was perfectly alright with him

"Yo," he greeted the assembled patients, following Light's example. Being here meant Misa would probably let go of his arm now, and he wasn't particularly looking forward to that but it couldn't be helped. It had been nice while it lasted.

Her bow was curt but respectful and not as deep as it normally would have been because she was conscious of how high her sweater would ride up. Accidentally flashing Light wouldn't have been a problem but Sanji was behind her too and Misa wasn't that kind of a tease.
She noticed the twins there with Tamaki and her smile became just slightly more rigid. She wasn't yet sure if she completely disliked them or not.

This was perfect. Light, Misa, and...somebody else all coming into the room together, clinging to each other. It didn't get any better than this.
Hikaru wished he had a couple of roses on hand. Hosting Misa in front her boyfriend would be hilarious. ...Well, maybe they still could. The older twin shot his brother a knowing look.

Now as long as his two companions didn't try to make him a patient here, everything would be good. Though, to be honest, he didn't think he'd be able to turn down a request to be checked over if Misa insisted upon it. Curse his weakness to women.

Hikaru blinked. Well, he hadn't expecting that. He looked over at his brother, eyes wide. "K-Kaoru..."
Sanji's self-introduction was met with a rather distracted "hi" as the older of the twins grabbed his brother's arm and tried to pull him closer to the door. "Kaoru, what the h--"
Then Tamaki yelled at them and the first of the patients started to come in. Hikaru shot Light a confused look. What should they do? Well, go to the next room, obviously, but hadn't they come here to help?

Kaoru looked over to Tamaki, struggling to keep the moment. "Mood killer," he muttered, face hidden away from others by his brother's shoulder. How were they supposed to host here? And the look on Hikaru's face had been brilliant too!
He looked to his big brother, letting him decide their next move.
