[Scoobies + Bella's epic field day: readystartgo]

Taking his pick between sun and no sun wasn't that hard of a choice, really. Angel ended up in the Sun Room on a couch near the back, facing the entrance to keep an eye on anyone coming in. And by the window. The window and its resulting sunlight was important ( Read more... )

Breakfast had left something to be desired, but Allen was feeling much better after a hearty meal. He wasn't thrilled about the Akuma that was running around in Brock's skin, but hopefully he'd be able to take care of that problem before it evolved into something larger. But for now, rest sounded like the best plan of action, and Allen was glad to note that the Sun Room was relatively empty. He found a couch and stretched himself out on it, adjusting the pillows a bit before he got comfortable.

Moose was weird and not all that much fun either. At least there had been sugar for breakfast, otherwise things would have been really boring and have left her in a bad mood. She was still bored (but then again, when wasn't she during the day?), and she hoped the next room would have some entertainment. She'd pouted enough to get the nurse not to take her to the Library - books were too boring - so she was led into the Sun Room and left to herself. Looking around, she pouted at not seeing many people there yet. Her pickings for a plaything were slim, it seemed. That was until she spotted a bit of white peeking over the edge of one of the couches ( ... )

Allen was on the verge of sleep, eyes closed, and breathing deeply when he was ambushed. He'd heard her voice, but barely had time to react before he felt a weight on his chest and she'd wrapped her arms around his neck like a vice. He tried to get his balance, sit up, and push her away all at once, but only ended up flailing and sputtering for a moment before he put his hands around her wrists.

"R-rhode?! You- G-get off!"

"Ahaha!" she laughed at his flailing, but didn't loosen her hold in the slightest. It wasn't so easy to catch Allen Walker like this, so she wasn't about to let go so he could run away! Even if they went tumbling to the floor!

"But I finally found you Allen! Don't make me leave," she whined, though the amusement in her tone betrayed her real reasons for not wanting to get off. Her grin was far too obvious anyway. Having him to herself for a little while was sure to cure the boredom Moose had given her at Breakfast. Hm, that reminded her. "You were mean last time too, apologize!" she demanded suddenly. Him and that Renji guy hadn't even apologized since they'd confronted her at Lunch. Now was a great time to make at least Allen do so. He was the only one she cared for if he apologized, so it would suffice.

While breakfast had definitely been fun - for a given definition of the word 'fun' - Willow was happy to learn that they were allowed to go to the library during the day, and that they were allowed to take books out. It probably meant they wouldn't be helpful at all, but it was something, at least. And she wanted to learn more about all these different fictional characters being at Landel's.

She paused in her beeline to the library when she noticed Angel sitting near the back. Near a window. Drenched in sunlight. She should have realized he wouldn't be affected by sunlight here, but... she was not used to seeing him like that.

"Angel?" She walked over and sat next to him, still not taking her eyes off him being in the sun. She smiled, not really sure what to say about it. Hey, you're in the sun. Another statement from Captain Obvious, anyone?

Anya wandered into the Sun Room wringing her hands. Completely aside from the bruise she felt forming on her shoulder - stupid Reid, making her fall off her chair! - the vengeance demon desperately wanted someone to cling to. And since Giles wasn't around, the next best large male would have to do.

As soon as she spotted Angel, she dashed over to him and threw her arms around his neck, ignoring the fact that he was already talking to Willow. She had to contort a bit weirdly to compensate for the fact that he was sitting down, but having someone to hug was worth a little back pain.

[in to respond to Anya's hug. Hope that's okay, Gina. :<]

Angel glanced up and was about to respond to Willow when he noticed Anya making a direct beeline in his direction. He could tell she looked nervous about something, but it still didn't prepare him for the way she threw herself at him.

He grunted in surprise. In truth, he probably should expect this from her by now, but spontaneous embraces were hard to get used to.

"Uh. Hah. Okay." He hesitated, then patted her back awkwardly before trying to disengage himself, looking at Willow over Anya's shoulder to see if she had any explanation for this. "What's...is something going on?"

[ i don't mind bb! :D ♥ ps you didn't see that. PS YOU DIDN'T SEE THAT EITHER. ]

Bella was glad that breakfast had ended, truthfully. The whole talk with Edward was kinda grating on her nerves - so he was hiding his pain from her, huh? Not cute.

Grumbling to herself as she stalked into the Sun Room, Bella nearly froze dead in her steps as she saw the looming group ahead of her. They were … they …

Her mouth fell open.

Oh my GOD.Before Bella could even realize what she was doing, she was moving towards the Scooby Gang, her face set in a curious expression. Didn’t want to seem too excited … even though she was sure Angel would be able to hear her heart beating miles away. Plus, with Willow there, she had a real excuse to wander up to the characters she had once loved so much ( ... )

[Has a date, I do believe!]

Diva woke up late, apparently. Late to the nurse lady, who came into the room to fetch her--never before had Diva had so many humans enter the room where she was sleeping, unaware. And then the nurse was saying it was daytime and time to greet the day.

Late. Late, hmm?

She had slept through the entire night, that was what she realized. She hadn’t been able to find her babies, and now just wanted to sleep. Until someone (herChevaliersAmshelSolomonJamesCarlNathan) came to take care of her.

Gingerly, the Chiropteran sat down on a couch with her legs beneath her. Her eyes were very dim. Lost in her head today. Not even hungry or murderous. After a while, she turned on her side, head pillowed on the arm of the couch, and just laid there. Listening to hearts, none of which were hers.

[No problem! :O Would you mind if Dean possibly crashed later?]

Diva didn't twitch at the approach, hardly even moving her eyes to regard either of them. She drew her legs up higher, though, when he depressed the couch with his own weight--the shift of the cushions underneath her sparked a vague sense of displeasure, like an errant butterfly fluttering just out of sight in the corner of her mind.

"Go away if you're not going to help look," she warned, voice young and girlish and queenly.

(Feel free! ^^)

Takaya hadn't wanted to do anything. this, of course, meant nothing to the nurse that dragged him to the Sun Room and nearly fucking shoved him into a chair. He muttered a few choice words and got an irate face much too close to him. The former warlord tried to leap back.

"You behave in here and try to talk to someone. I won't force you to, yet." Eyes narrowed as the woman stood and walked away. Fuck her. He didn't want to talk to anyone, he didn't want to deal with anyone, he wanted to be left alone.

Apparently he had slept for a long time, according to the nurse currently hurrying him along the corridors to the Sun Room, and had already missed breakfast (not that missing breakfast really mattered too much to Siegfried). He thought it strange that here he could sleep peacefully, undisturbed by dreams and nightmares, when before he slept for as short a time as possible out both of habit and precaution. It must be an effect of the Institute.

The nurse led him over to a seat and made sure he sat down before she left. There was another young man in the chair next to Siegfried, who quite frankly didn’t look too happy.

“Morning,” he mumbled. He would at least try to make conversation; if it didn’t work then it was no real loss to him.

Takaya turned and leveled a glare at the man who sat next to him, but he didn't spit out a curse or tell the man to go fuck himself. Instead, he ground out "Morning.". Kagetora, the bastard. Takaya didn't want to make friend, or allies, or any of that bullshit, but it seemed like his other self was much more interested.

Siegfried ever so slightly raised an eyebrow at the glare he received when he spoke. Who knew why the young man was in such a bad mood, but it was apparently bad enough that he would direct his anger towards strangers. To his credit though the young man did reply to Siegfried’s greeting civilly and did not verbally express his irritation.

“Bad night?”

Haku was the very picture of a calm, happy young man. His nurse seemed to likethe apperance and it saved him quite a bit of trouble. Internally though, he was seething. Breakfast with ... that boy. He had to calm down and think about this rationally.

Taking a seat near the windows, far enough away from the other groups so that he wouldn't bother them, he turned his gaze to the sky outside. Going after the boy was not his greatest priority. Getting medical supplies and information was his highest priority. Killing Danny was second to that.
