Allen gave a sharp knock on the door when he arrived. It was just a quick pick-up and then he'd go find Rinali! It made things so much easier when he put it in simple terms.

He pried open the door and peeked his head in, figuring he'd given ample warning. "Hello?" he called out. "Ah... Hitsugaya...sir?"

As soon as nightshift began, Hitsugaya returned to his closet and quickly donned his shinigami uniform, not worrying that Sanzo was still in the room. Modesty was never much of an issue for him, and he wanted to tear off the institute's garments as soon as he had the opportunity. It felt good to be in it again, an affirmation that he was not just some crazy person in an asylum with a dumb smiley face t-shirt for a uniform. It gave him a small dose of hope, but any little bit helped in a place like this

Okay, so maybe he'd hurried a bit more than necessary on his way to Hitsugaya's room, but that was understandable, right? Who knew what might be lurking in the hallway? It certainly wasn't nerves, and the way he kept flinching whenever a flashlight beam got close to him had nothing to do with it, either. Nope.

He paused as he neared Hitsugaya's door, uncertain. That was... Allen? Yes, he'd met him the other day, the first time he'd worked with Hitsugaya. And from the sound of it, Hitsugaya was just inside. Hopefully there hadn't been a change of plans. He gave Allen a quiet 'hi' as he stopped next to the door, eyes and flashlight sweeping the hallway not-quite-nervously. "Hitsugaya-san?"

Allen was sure he hadn't said more than a few words to Hitsugaya, so it was difficult to form an opinion right away. He was... very to-the-point. Not at all like Komui, the one who had assigned missions before, though that wasn't a bad thing really. "Yes, that's right," he answered, his tone friendly. Though the other boy appeared to be an Akuma, he was like the others, or at least Allen hoped he was.

He followed the instructions promptly, picking up one of the maps and studying it for a moment before he tucked it away. "Thank you sir."

One of the other boys was at the door as he exited and he sent a friendly smile and a wave in Omi's direction as he passed him.

There was really no reason to keep thinking about that newbie he'd run into, but Eddie Brock found that he kept wondering if he should've given him his room number, something at least so the kid could check in with him. Maybe it was because he was shallow, and because anyone called "Peter" was enough to make him pay a little bit more attention. Or maybe he was just turning into that much of a bleeding heart that he was actually getting concerned for these normals, these inferior humans.

Either way, he was currently betting with himself whether Peter would survive the night. It seemed like crap odds. Obviously their Peter, the Spider, their day and night, would survive. He always did, just kept coming at you. It was what he was best at, like a rat, only a lot better looking and nevermind when he got in that Spider outfit of his. Just thinking about Parker got the symbiote shivering with pleasure

As soon as the doors unlocked, Ed was moving. He went to the closet first, pulling out all of his clothing as well as his boots (he never thought that he'd be so grateful to have a pair of boots). He threw them onto the bed in a pile and then began to quickly strip off his clothing, seemingly unconcerned about paltry things such as modesty.

Tanktop first, then the leather pants and jacket and coat, which he stroked fondly for a moment. It even had the Flamel on the back of it. He had no idea how it had come to be here, but he was very happy that it had. And then, finally, sweet merciful boots. He grinned at Hiei for a moment and then slipped out of the door, heading along the corridor to Adel's room where his things were. He knocked on the door and called out quietly. "Oi! Adel! It's me!"

Artemis went directly to the door and knocked, "Edward, it's Artemis Fowl." No answer for a moment. The boy's heart stopped a moment. What if he'd been taken for experimentation?

Ed turned when he heard the familiar voice just back down the corridor and he turned towards the sound. Huh, Adel wasn't answering. But he couldn't have been taken again, could he? He'd just have to barge in there anyway and wake him up if he was aslep!!

He waved to the younger boy and jogged back up the corridor towards him. "Hey. My things are in Adel's room," he said, waving vaguely basck towards his freind's door.

Artemis nearly jumped when Ed called to him. Looking back and forth between Ed and the door, he finally decided that with the Captain only a few doors down, he'd hear if Artemis happened to scream in mortal panic. No doubt about it, he was paranoid now.

"Ah! Right, well lead the way!" Artemis said with a smile. He looked at Edward's clothing. "I see you also received a 'gift' from the good Head Doctor?"

Ed looked Artermis up and down carefully, taking in the posh suit and shoes. Somehow, he managed to look good in it. Kids normally didn't look good in suits, but it worked for Artermis. Ed nodded approvingly and grinned, patting his coat protectively. "Yeah. It's good to have some normal clothes, something familiar. And proper shoes!!"

He nodded and headed back towards Adel's room, knocking on the door again.
