Worried they were about to find out exactly what was causing the heavy atmosphere, Raine looked around very cautiously as she and Reinforce stepped out into the open hallway between patient-room blocks. From everything she'd heard and seen here, the cause of the disturbance was more than likely in the Sun Room--what was happening there tonight? While she hoped for as few injuries as possible, she wanted whatever it was to leave a very obvious amount of damage... if she could get Washu even slightly believing her, having something of an ally in the staff could prove invaluable.

Or, of course, somehow out them all at yet further risk. Possibly including any staff members who started to believe them, but they were the only ones here by choice. Raine didn't want to feel sorry for them at all.

Upon confirming that the coast was clear for the moment, she nodded to Reinforce and they moved on. Raine wasn't quite running, but it was close.

With her good hand, Jean clumsily shone the flashlight around the hallway as they reached the first floor. No monsters or anything waiting to get them.

"Leon, where is your room?" she asked. "Perhaps we should go there to rest, unless Gremio's room is nearer."

Gremio followed along behind her, pausing only to adjust the position of his hands so that Leon didn't slip out of his grasp.

"My room is M29," he said. "I'm not sure where yours is, though, Leon, so I don't know if it's any farther away."

It took Leon a moment to remember where his room was. "... M86. That way." He gestured vaguely with both hands, dripping blood as he did so; the cloth was already soaked through and incapable of absorbing any more.

Strangely, Leon was finding that being carried on Gremio's back was giving him weird bits of residual early childhood memories--of times before Hugo had gone mad, when his mother was still alive and Rutee still lived with them. It was weird, and a little uncomfortable; he didn't like remembering the good times, it made it harder to hate Hugo completely.

Jean didn't need to consult her map to figure out that Gremio's was nearer of the two. "We will stop at Gremio's room, then. Once there, we will put Leon to bed. Gremio, I will have to send you to get some more water, and perhaps I can try and make some bandages."

The way Leon was dripping blood was worrying her; would he make it through the night? They probably needed more than bandages and water to stop the bleeding, but Jean knew of no other medical supplies repository other than the second floor.

Of course, she needed ointment for her burns. The skin might scar, but at least her erementar gerad was unharmed.

The hallway was quiet as they stepped out - perhaps it had been too long since the night had begun and most people had fanned out. Celes switched the flash light to her off-hand, and rubbed her fingers together. "I faintly remember stairs being over there," she nodded towards the end of the hallway.

Mion grinned a little. It was good to se royalty not being stuck up or anything, like you always hear about. "Larsa it is."

Stairs...? Mion knew that at least Celes had been here longer than her, so of course she'd have a better idea of the layout of the place. Making sure to try to get a handle of it herself, Mion began making a mental map of where she'd been so far, while still keeping up conversation.

Perking up a little at the mention of him meeting people from Japan, a little bit of hope popped up. "Uh, say... Any of those people happen to be named 'Rena'? Short brown-orange hair...?"

Mion blinked. "Okay... Well, I kind of expected something like that! What's your home country called then?"

He made no comment to her thanks, only leading them out of the female's block. Honestly, he had no where to go and no where in mind... perhaps exploration of this basement the radio had spoken of? Though he had not a clue where to even begin. If only someone had found where the patients' possessions were; the rapier he carried was not suited to his tastes. Once he had had his custom broadswords made at his request, he'd not touched another weapon's handle.

When Celes mentioned the rapier, his eyes flicked to it. "It was given to me - not personally, mind - a few nights past. Larsa and I are the only ones accustomed to such a weapon. Most likely made by the alchemists that run amidst us."

Noah's eyes followed the lady's, trying to see where human eyes could not. He nodded to her suggest, assenting. "It is a idea as any."

Larsa kept his ears open whilst Gabranth and Celes talked, though he proceeded to contribute to his own with interest. He shook his head disappointingly at Mion's first question, wishing he could be of some help to the young woman. "I am afraid to say that I've yet to come cross anyone with that name."

And then came the subject of his own country. A sense of homesickness overwhelmed him momentarily, but he quickly shook it off and pressed a finger to his chin. "My home country had been named Archadia of which resides in the world of Ivalice. If I remember correctly, the world that holds Japan is... Earth. Or at least, from most of the Japans I've heard of."

Elphaba continued into the connecting corridor, where the darkness continued to press and ooze on all sides. Still slightly drowsy, Elphaba paused for a moment, trying to recall the map in her mind, before moving towards where she believed the library to be.
