Sonia knew what that meant. Her fists were still clenched tightly when the broadcast ended. General Aguilar wasn't having any luck catching the traitor himself, so he was getting some of the prisoners to do it for him! There was no way they would willingly cooperate, so they'd probably been threatened into it. Berg had said it would be "for everyone's sakes". Maybe that was it--how they'd make sure no one went rogue; the rest of the prisoners would be in even more danger if they didn't catch him or her ( ... )

In the hallway, Tsubaki clapped her hands over her ears, a futile attempt to block out the alarms. "What the--"
So loud! Even so, the robotic voice she had come to associate with I.R.I.S. pierced the cacophony, repeating some kind of order about a Code Red. Almost simultaneously, a glow started up all around them, sweeping along the walls and the floor; it forced Tsubaki to look away before her eyes could adjust.
What was going on!?

By the time it was finished, Rapunzel was left standing with her jaw wide open in the middle of the hall, a familiar pile of golden hair at her feet. She was so confused that she barely even registered the pink stuff on the walls at first. "Tsubaki... 'Code Red' doesn't mean 'everyone suddenly gets back what they lost' does it?" she asked with extreme uncertainty.

More to the point, the other girl’s hair was representative of her powers, wasn’t it?
Tentatively, she lowered her hands once the deafening noise began to fade. Tsubaki didn’t have any more of an idea what was going on than Rapunzel, but she was thinking along the same lines, herself. “Your powers are back!” Or at least that was how it appeared from where she was standing. Did that mean…
“W-wait, then the emergency…”
Being allowed to return to normal, that wouldn’t happen, right? They’ve never done that before. Not without a handicap. The Institute wouldn’t just let that happen. How could it?
