*pouts* I wish a muscle-bound mercenary would play me a song! It's a sweet series...I like that Zoe doesn't just fall into his arms, that it's going to take some time for her to fully commit herself to him. It shows her respect for Wash and her seriousness about her own emotions.

I'm glad that you see that she isn't falling right into his arms. I'm not a hundred percent sure where this series is going, but I'm glad you like it and I'm glad that you see her seriousness with regard to her emotions. She's cautious and rightly so. I love Zoe. :D

PS - there's just something about this scence on your background after Zoe slits that guy's throat. Not the killing part but the way she stands there after she kills him. It's damn sexy!

Wow! I didn'think it was possible for you to get better. What a pleasant surprise! I love this story! I like that you have her taking her time. Some people seem to forget all about Wash and her loving marriage with him. Of course she's gonna need time to grieve. My heart is still reeling from that gorram letter. I wanted to meet that baby, too!

Also this is s very kewl and practical way to do a song fic. Just have Jayne sing it ... or Zoe. -smirks-

*blushes* Thank you. It would be hard for me to have her completely forget Wash and in most of my pieces, Jayne is fully aware that a) he can't replace Wash and b) he's always going to be a part of her.

I love the song it's' beautifuland you wrote around it well. I like the slow pace and that they're both willing to learn together. Great!

*grins really, really big* Thank you. I'm really glad people seem to be liking this story. To me, it's important to show that it takes time to heal and that Jayne is willing to wait for her, which to me shows a great deal about his character.
