Wow. This was fantastic. A warning, if you go to this expecting 40 Year Old Virgin or Knoced UP, be warned you are actually getting something more along the lines of Freaks and Geeks with a lot more dick jokes. Maybe this one should have been two movies. It just seems like all of the energy of the last two films was replaced with a note saying Do you like me? Check one yes or no. There was a scene that had the power of the last two films. The scene where the Weasley's home is attacked was amazing. I loved this scene. Of course, how the next movie ( Read more... )

Well, it was hilarious and offensive. A couple of problems with it: Sasha Baron Cohen is too well known now to pull off the movie he did with Borat and therefor he had too much scripted gags in this one. I saw a script review of the first thirty minutes of this movie like last year maybe. I knew then I would be balling my eyes out. I read it to Katy and she said it sounded horrible. Imagine Dude Where's My Car? as a Judd Apatow comedy. (I know it's by the dude who did Old School, not Judd Apatow, but still) Parts of it were hilarious. I enjoyed it. Not much more to say.

So I tried watching Let the Right One In, but the sound was all messed up. Netflix was only playing one track, so either you heard dialogue, or you only heard score and sound effects. I was expecting a lot from this movie, due to the excellent reviews and word of mouth. While I did enjoy the movie, I felt the ending was rather contrived.
