Speaking of black-footed ferrets, the PBS show "Wild Kratts" had an episode this week called "Bandito: The Black-Footed Ferret", including cute animated cartoon black-footed ferrets. :-)

Congratulations! I'm closing in on 5000 (closer to 6500 with both accounts), but with my lean FLs and sporadic postings/commenting by myself and my friends, I can't say I'll make the 10K mark.

Twitter is a nice diversion. The site is more easily accessible than LJ when using the iPad, though LJ is finally allowing me to tap into my tablet's photo folder.

That's a lot of paw-tappings at the keyboard!

I'm very fond of LJ. I use Twitter, but I can't really say I consider it a home online - just a tolerable medium. Here, I can enjoy postings without any such diminutive restriction, and enjoy dozens of icons, choosing whichever I feel fits the posting or comment, as well as real threading. And there are some rather fun folk here too. ^_^

Congratulations on your 10K LJ Comment! Given that I've made just over 2200 comments in the 10+ years I've had an LJ account, I don't think I'll ever reach the 5 K milestone, let alone 10 K. ;-) And it's nice to see the plush in the background! I don't recognize your new plushie self *chuckle*. He does look nice, though. :-)

Congrats. I'm following closely behind with over 9500 comments, but like so many others, I use LJ more rarely now.
