Vincent wasn't kidding when he said he would chain the door shut. Though Cloud had been pretty calm and quiet upon returning, the Ex-Turk wasn't about to take any chances.

With six bottles of wine slung over his shoulder, the man arrived at the bowling alley, hoping this party would help to calm some nerves. He planned on getting buzzed, but no more. Loz would be there too, and the last thing the Ex-Turk wanted to do was attack the man drunk and upset Naminé.

He slipped in through the open door.

Keiichi looked up from the rack of bowling balls when he saw what's-his-name (he hadn't asked, seemed like) coming in. "Oh, hey! How's it going? You're the first one here," he said. He gestured generally at the alley. "Set down anywhere, there's plenty of room, obviously."

((ooc: hey, can I bug you on IM a bit? I haven't seen you there lately so...))

[ooc: Sorry, can't get on today. I'm okay, though. No worries.]

"Like the sound of that." The Ex-Turk almost grinned. Good. He could relax for a bit without Loz griping and moaning about him. ...for now, at least. Gesturing to the wine, he added. "...this is mine. Hate sharing." Though the kid had been the one to arrange the whole thing, and the red-cloaked man was grateful, old habits never seemed to die easily.

Keiichi's eyebrows went up at that. "You're not seriously going to drink all that?" he said in disbelief. Those were definitely bigger than the beer bottles he had.

It had been established years ago that Fugaku was not good in social situations. In fact, ‘not good’ was rather generous. On missions that involved talking, the teenage Uchiha had been specifically ordered to shut the hell up and quite offending clients, especially before they’d handed over the money.

Even with that in mind, Fugaku wanted to get drunk, and that required alcohol, which he had been unable to find. He assumed stealing some from the party could be done without anyone noticing, or cornering him and making him talk.

Maybe. Hey, sometimes jounin needed to take chances.

He’d found a window, and found a way to open it without breaking it. It took longer than it should have.

Fugaku landed silently. Now to get some booze.

The teenager's attempts didn't exactly go unnoticed as Balthier approached the bowling alley. Now just what was this boy thinking? He could very well understand wanting to keep away from a crowd, but when the drink was free, why bother taking such a complicated route?

"Come now, was that really necessary?" he asked, leaning against the open window frame with a smirk playing at his lips. "You could have just gone through the front. It's not like anyone's paying for it, after all."

Fugaku froze, and then scowled rather darkly. Great. He’d been noticed. No way to avoid this one, short of teleporting out (required too much chakra in this place, and probably wouldn’t have worked, even if he had it) or throwing a knife at the guy and running for it (defiantly not a good idea, especially with all the alcohol around). Might as well make the most of it, or at least, try to leave without getting any death-threats.

That was always a good goal. It was also harder than it should have been for Fugaku. He wasn’t quite sure why.

“Yes,” he said shortly, and turned to face the man speaking to him. He had a rather large number of pricing. Huh. “Who’re you?”

Polite, thy name is not Uchiha Fugaku.

Well, wasn't he a friendly fellow? Oh well, Balthier could have guessed he'd meet such a person. That was how things usually went, wasn't it? "Me? Just a man come to enjoy the company of others," he stated, "Or, if you want a name, Balthier."

He drummed his fingers against the frame, studying the other curiously. Obviously, the boy was used to being stealthy, even if he didn't seem to be much of a thief. It made Balthier wonder as to just what the boy's profession was.

"And what about yourself?"

Satoshi was even more uncertain about all this, it just...didn't seem right. No matter how many times Keiichi exclaimed it was a great idea, Satoshi couldn't stop himself from doubting it. Regardless he had tagged along mostly out of concern than anything else. There were just so many things that could go wrong and....

Keiichi's voice snapped him out of his (negative) thinking and he looked up to see what the other was talking about. "M-Maybe," he muttered uncertainly as he frowned. It certainly was unnerving. What if...

What if there were monsters?

He refrained from voicing this thought aloud but now he was even more skittish then before. Keiichi might have said he hadn't seen any around these parts but they lived underground, didn't they? What if they had decided to come up?

"Keiichi....I'm really not sure if this is a good idea..."

Of course, Keiichi was already going on ahead, and thus stopped halfway through the door when Satoshi voiced his concerns. "... What, haven't we had this conversation already?" he said incredulously, scratching his head. Granted, it hadn't been resolved then, so he probably shouldn't have been so surprised at the issue coming up again...

He turned and smiled back at Satoshi. "I told you, it'll be fine. Anyway, don't think of it as a party, think of it as meeting some of our allies." Here the smile turned into a wry grin. "After all, we'll need all the allies we can get if we're ever gonna get back to our own time, right?" he added.

Satoshi hadn't moved from the spot, looking away as he muttered a soft and probably unheard "M-Muu..." as the only objection of sorts he gave, which wasn't anything at all. He only looked back up again when Keiichi turned to him. He found some comfort in the smile but...he glanced dubiously at the six-pack the other was holding before sighing.

"Allies..." Couldn't Keiichi just gather those on the journals and hold a meeting? A party hardly seemed the place for it but Satoshi nodded slowly nonetheless. The steps he was taking to get back to Keiichi's side were still hesitant though and it showed.

"Yep. Now let's get this thing started." Since Satoshi seemed to be coming along, Keiichi continued into the bowling alley and found the light switch without much trouble. It only turned on about three-fourths of the lights, but that gave him enough to hop the counter and check out what was behind it.

"I wonder how you even start this place," he mused aloud. Before there was room for an answer, though, he found a console with a set of keys hanging out of it, and turned them experimentally; with a satisfying clunk, the machinery behind the alleys came to life. "Haha! Sweet, I wasn't sure it was still gonna work," he commented triumphantly, returning to the customer side of the counter and collecting his five-pack.

"Come on, the others'll be here soon," he called to Satoshi. Lane 16 looked as good as any, so that was where he was headed.

Loz arrived with a colorful cardboard box claiming it had "24 cans of Pabst Blue Ribbon" in it on one shoulder. The box was opened and only seemed to have 20 or so cans still in it. A bag of assorted other liquor dangled from his other hand. The liquor just took up room in his apartment - apart from some of the bottles being kinda pretty, it was useless to him, so this was a fine opportunity to get rid of it. The beer was from another apartment in the building - but if people actually wanted it here, this was clearly a better place for it ( ... )

Being one of the first ones there, Vincent didn't quite know what to do with himself for the time being; nobody had really arrived yet and it wasn't much of a party. He didn't mind the fact that no-one was going to take his booze, though. Like hell he was sharing.

It was then that his attention turned to the clink of bottles against a table, and he turned to see a large, silver-haired man in black glaring daggers at him. Finally, some fun.

"Hmmph." The Ex-Turk scowled. "Impolite to stare."

Loz immediately looked away, though it was no good trying to pretend that he hadn't been staring. Fine, then, he wouldn't look at the ex-Turk at all. He'd ignore him. Completely.

Glowering, Loz stalked back to the drinks with a heavy step, not quite stomping, and grabbed a bottle of... something. It said "lemonade" so it shouldn't taste as bad as the "Pabst" stuff had, right? Anyway, he was thirsty after dragging all that stuff that he didn't want here.

He wrenched open the bottle and walked right past Vincent, making sure to not look at him at all, and set about exploring the building a little more. There was an entire alcove just full of shoes over here. What was up with that? Who needed that many shoes all in the same style? This place was so weird...

Vincent huffed in annoyance as the silver-haired man brushed him aside. What was with those Remnants always thinking they were so much better than everyone else? He shrugged. Loz stayed out of his hair, and the Ex-Turk would do the same.

The red-cloaked man placed his numerous bottles of wine on the floor and took one out, opening it with the gold gauntlet on his hand and taking a swig.

His annoyance turned to amusement as Loz picked up a bottle of 'lemonade'. Oh, this would be good...

Demyx.. wasn't sure what to expect. But, he figured he could sit and play, if things got booring. So, after pushing the door open, he entered with a swish of his coat.
