He'd not run all the way there, just a fair amount of it, since he couldn't fly for long periods of time as he got tired really easily, but by the time he got to her place he was panting heavily. He really needed to find some other way to get around this city. Maybe he could find some rundown garage or something that had bikes and stuff in them... but without Cyborg around, even if he found something it probably would be totaled ( ... )

"I'm coming," she yelled, hoping he could hear her from back there. She wearily made her way to the door, trying to stay off her bad ankle as much as possible. That was to say nothing about the rest of her body, which (just like she knew would happen) was already starting to kill her.
Before she opened the door, she ran a hand through her hair to make sure the bandage was still in place and everything was properly hidden. When she was satisfied, she finally opened up. "Come on in," she said, looking down. Deliberately avoiding his eyes.

"Hey, Ter-," he cut himself off when he actually registered that she did not look okay. Not at all. His smile vanished as a frown and worry washed all over his face.
"Dude, are you okay?" he asked, reaching up for one of her arms instinctively, and looking her over, noting several things that were definitely off. Now he was convinced she'd been lying to him. Not a very good start to their relationship (..he still wasn't over that yet) but she obviously trusted him enough to let him come over. That had to count for something.

Was the constant lying really much of a surprise?
"Do I look okay?" she shot back once the door slammed. Her exposed eye, sharp and suffering, finally met his. So much for keeping it together. A breath. "Sit down." And an aimless motion towards the couch. "Anything I can get you?" Before this whole thing really went downhill.
