Spin might have been able to read her like a book, especially when she was using musical metaphors, but even if he was a great friend, he wasn't... he didn't know her. Not the way Beast Boy did. And she'd known Beast Boy longer. And she could trust him, or at least she was beginning to think she really could.
She didn't look too terrible, all things considered. When she'd told the network she was busy, she was trying to compose herself. Memories hurt more than the fall. There was a small bandage on the right side of her forehead, which she was doing a decent job covering with her hair. It covered half her face, too, but she would survive. And for the first time in too long, she was wearing long sleeves and jeans that didn't leave a lot of bare skin showing. Just catching herself in the mirror made her frown.
But Beast Boy would be here soon enough. And hopefully he'll have listened to her. Because she had things she wanted to talk about. Things that wouldn't go well as Mystery Science Theater conversation over bad movies.
