That Was The Weekend That Was

Friday -- I had the day off for Veteran's Day.  Took my car to the shop to have the mechanic fix the heater.  There's a noise when you run it.  The mechanic removed a dead mouse.  I now have a working heater again. :)  We spent most of it decorating the rental hall for the UU fundraiser on Saturday.  The theme was the Tales of the Arabian Nights.

Glad that you, Karen, the house, and the critters are OK. I've had to endure my share of tornado warnings. My shelter is the downstairs bathroom. It's the most interior room in the condo.

On first inattentive reading, "A tornado touched down in Fredonia and Westfield. I was at work and then in Buffalo." sounded like you had a Dorothy-ish tornado experience.

Actually, one woman in Westfield *did* ride the tornado. Picked up her house and moved it completely off the foundation. She was in it at the time. She said it was like her house was on a roller-coaster.
