Friday -- I had the day off for Veteran's Day.  Took my car to the shop to have the mechanic fix the heater.  There's a noise when you run it.  The mechanic removed a dead mouse.  I now have a working heater again. :)  We spent most of it decorating the rental hall for the UU fundraiser on Saturday.  The theme was the Tales of the Arabian Nights.  ( Read more... )

Thursday, Nov. 3rd -- We attended the funeral for Jerry Suttner, Fadl from the Rhydderich Hael.  This wasn't entirely unexpected, but it was thought he still had a few more months yet.

Friday, Nov. 4th -- First Friday of the month which means all the end-of-month reports are due.  It kept me busy.

Thurs. September 22 -- I caught a bit of a bug.  Took a half-day sick day from work.  Dragged ourselves out to the Lutheran Camp to help set up.  Dropped off a lot of the larger stuff, like puppet stage and bedding and food for side-board.  I donated three watermelons to the side board.

Friday -- I missed witnessing an accident on the way to work by a couple of minutes.  By the time I pulled over and got out of the car, I counted four people on cellphones.  I decided not to add to the phone congestion at 911.  There were already multiple people helping the victims out of the cars.  If I had been in charge, I would have had them ( Read more... )
