I must be losing it
Because I'm up so early on my day off. I usually sleep until noon if I can. I've just started working at 'wich craft, a cool sandwich shop in Manhattan. The atmosphere is relaxed, the pay is exactly what I'd been getting at the stadium for less that half the amount of work and no where near the stress level, plus it's 5 days a week, steady work. Emotionally speaking, I am much, much happier than I was the last time I posted. Still looking for a job, still broke. But I'm seeing the most wonderful man in the world, and my mom and I are on good terms again. So all in all I'm okay. How are all of you? -
new job, day 2
Okay, so since 4 out of 5 people polled said, 'dude, you didn't do anything wrong, so why the $*%# should you apologize??' (yes Kris you are the only one who said I should, if only to smooth things over), I wasn't planning on it. But here's what happened instead.

I got a job, yay! I mean, I still have the Yankee Stadium job, but that's not til April, unless you count the one day of paid training I'll get on Friday. Just a license renewal thing. The new job is a customer service/data entry thingy. Pays $11/hr and sounds really simple and straightforward. Paid training starts tomorrow. Office environment and ( Read more... ) -

Okay, I've moped around the house long enough...
...tomorrow I am going to wake up early and go to Manhattan, because apparently, those people you see in the audience on those TV trial thingys, like The People's Court, get paid. And I need to get paid. The modelling agency gave me a schedule, tomorrow @ 8:30 a.m. I am to head over there in nice clothes. I hope this ends in payment. Funny, ( Read more... ) -

This is why everyone should get to know their neighbours: My gran's upstairs tennant Warren is so cool. He has lived here for years and I never knew that he has an awesome computer he never uses (and so is willing to share :D), and delivers candy for a living.
