Lately I've been listening to M83's Saturdays=Youth, which has, ftr, the most nauseatingly indie album cover I have ever seen. Well, it's tied with Camera Obscura's Underachievers Please Try Harder.

Solid study music, though. As is the latter, maybe.

I submit that they are in a tight race against The Boy Least Likely To's "the best party ever."

It's neck and neck, although the bangs per person count strongly favors your picks.

I really like to study to classical music and soundtracks. I alternate currently between the Nutcracker Suite, Dame Edna reading Peter and the Wolf, the Princess Mononoke soundtrack, and my Ennio Morricone and Bear McCreary playlists.

I like it when my lame-nerdy-subtext jokes go through.

Because this comment is not terribly interesting, I'm tacking on an extra question: What exactly is in your icon?

Aphex Twin's Drukqs was big junior year, I remember, and I still love that thing. But the most consistent presence, as I am sure will be no surprise to you, is anything by Nobuo Uematsu (except for that Black Mages band). Original and orchestral/piano recordings alike. http://bluelaguna.net/ has pretty much everything I could ever want. (Except Overclocked Remixes, I should see what has been made recently.)

I experimented with Drukqs on Wednesday and found it to my liking.

Zoe Keating. Either albumn.I think you would really like her. Sometimes the Amelie soundtrack or Portishead. Silly, I know. But good.
