I cannot say just how fucking pissed off I am at the state of politics in this country!!!! This whole debt ceiling bullshit has just been pushed way too far. The absurdity that is life tickles me sometimes. I'm at the store and 2 guys walk in. The first one says "Ooh, you moved stuff around. The counter's over here now." I just smile and say "yup, it is." OOPS! My bad!
Yesterday at work I was ringing up some guy and he was digging & digging in his pockets to find exact change. After about a minute and a half he finally finds the exact change. I looked at him and said "Oh my god! It's like Christmas in your pants!!!"

Gay Pride!
Rich & I are both ecstatic that New York state has legalized "gay marriage"! It is way past time that it finally passed. Rich texted me yesterday to tell me about the passage and then he texted me that we need to visit his family in upstate NY to get married (again). This time though, his family would pay for it :)

Life has totally been the suck lately, in an extremely bad way, but the 2 of us are still treading water and dealing with it. I so fucking hate all these republiturds who say that the free market system is best for healthcare, and that our healthcare system is the best in the world. Righteous Indignation
Last night was the annual Billboard Awards show, of course we taped it and then watched it so we could pause and laugh, scream, bitch, piss, etc. The show opened with Rihanna singing her latest single S & M. Today's Flashback Friday is a T'Pau song from the 80's. They were a one hit wonder with Heart And Soul, but actually the whole album was really good. They did release a 2nd single off the album but here in the states it took a nosedive. Saturday Was FCBD!!!!!!!
Saturday was national Free Chicken ‘n Biscuit Day (FCBD)!!! It’s my favorite day of the year. I look forward to it for months leading up to it! I mean how frickin cool is it that pretty much EVERY grocery store in the country gives out free food like that??? So many different types of chicken, all the various biscuits….. Yumm! Friday & Flashing Back!
How could anybody not like The Goonies movie?? There was a song in it that always made me want to get up and shake my ass. The Goon Squad's 8 Arms To Hold You. It never really became a hit or anything, but it still makes me wanna dance and puts a smile on my face :)
