Rich & I are both ecstatic that New York state has legalized "gay marriage"! It is way past time that it finally passed. Rich texted me yesterday to tell me about the passage and then he texted me that we need to visit his family in upstate NY to get married (again). This time though, his family would pay for it :)

It's not uncommon for online news sites to see posts from homophobes spew their ignorant shit. You do argue well that since gay people have paid taxes for years as single adults in relationships, society owes them the right to get married and enjoy its benefits.

Having gay marriage in Canada for around 5 years now, the sky has never fallen and we don't talk about it anymore. I wonder why...
