some sad news about a great actress who did a lot of work with one of my favorite film directors.

Oh dear. I thought I recognized her. I only know her from Trust, which is one of my all-time favs.

i also recommend hartley's The Unbelievable Truth, which features her. as far as her own writing/directing, i've only seen Sudden Manhattan, which i enjoyed. i'm definitely going to seek more of her work out.

it's so sad (and intriguing at the same time).
