China! I am alive, but the internet connection here is incredibly slow. I believe it has to do with the earthquake in South Asia a few weeks ago. Chinese sites load slowly, but they actually load, while many American sites (namely my e-mail, and for that matter any page at CMU, and Suikox) never load at all. Actually, it would be Tiananmen III. The first Tiananmen was in the 70s, after Zhou Enlai died, I think. I'd look it up on wikipedia, but is both banned and impossible to reach through proxy because of slowness.

Ah! This whole internet cable-outage business is just a scam so the government can censor everything!
