How F*cked up is this?

10 minutes ago I burst into tears because I couldn't find my cellphone. I hadn't moved from this chair so it was obviously within arms length.

OK, bearing in mind that I am a/ a chronic depressive b/ 'only a man' and therefore unfeeling, uncaring and unresponsive', please advise.

Hmmm? My life? Women and the way they have treated me? Are the words 'good' and 'woman' mutually exclusive? I would prefer to think not. Don't get me wrong Ladies, I don't feel or believe myself to be a misogynist. Despite being without for nearly three days, since purchasing some tobacco I am only now deciding to smoke a second cigarette.

I reckon that I can give up quite easily if I had a good woman to encourage me.

In other news, my injured knee is getting stronger. This evening I managed to walk to the corner shop and back. I took my walking stick as a contingency measure but it was not needed.

YAY!!!!

I can (almost) walk.

My friend Derek passed away this morning. I shall miss him.

My condolences to his wife and family. He was a lovely man who made the world a better place just by being in it.

My friend Derek is still 'on the edge' but more alert and responsive today. His wife, family and friends can only hope and pray that his improvement continues as steadily.
