Hmmm? My life? Women and the way they have treated me? Are the words 'good' and 'woman' mutually exclusive? I would prefer to think not. Don't get me wrong Ladies, I don't feel or believe myself to be a misogynist. I still love you, I'm just confused why I can't seem to find a partner despite trying to adjust to all the 'complaints' that you seem to have about men in general. I guess it's because that despite the fact that I am a big softy, I still like to have my own opinion? My most recent experience seems to not only confirm that pov but set it in concrete. Are you really trying to find that impossible creature? i.e. a man who is caring, compliant, and obsequious, but still in essence a man with his own identity and feelings? I submit respectfully that if you found such a man you would find him either, weak and undeserving of your respect, or too strong and, pardon my choice of inadequate wording, scary.
I hope that I am a 'modern' man. I don't want or desire or need a 50s kind of woman. I would like an equal in every sense. Should 'we' find that one or the other is 'better' than equal in some particular regard then I feel that I can recognise such and hope that I am 'man enough' to accede, likewise the reverse. I repeat, I would like, I would enjoy, I would respect, I would be relieved, to find a woman who treated me the same.
I feel that the current lady of my attention is such a woman, but she has issues from before our acquaintance. I look to you my friends for advice and guidance as to how to satisfy her doubts about me as regards her generally unfavourable (and not undeserved) opinion of men.
