I went to a beauty pageant last night. It started at 6:00 and was not over until 11:00!!!!!

I think I'll go back to bed.

The writing assessment is over. I am relieved. I think my kids did well. Today I dressed up as Stargirl for "Dress like your favorite character day" at school. It was fun and the kids loved it. When I got home today, there was a package waiting for me. It was from Parisian. It was a big, hardcover (coffee table-esque) book called InStyle Parties. Inside the book was a thank you card. I went shopping today for the first time in a long while. I didn't break the bank, but I got a few good things. A pair of brown pants and some capri pants from New York & Co (I still call this store Lerner, but apparently that is passe these days).
