(no subject)
I went shopping today for the first time in a long while. I didn't break the bank, but I got a few good things. A pair of brown pants and some capri pants from New York & Co (I still call this store Lerner, but apparently that is passe these days). They were having a big sale, buy 1 pair of pants & get 1 for half price. Score! I also got 2 shirts from Target. And a pair of Kenneth Cole Reaction flats in metallic bronze and a pair of Blue Cult jeans from Parisian. I got my Parisian Rewards certificate in the mail last week, so I used that to pay for the jeans (which are a size smaller than my normal jeans--YAY--but they are *almost* too tight--BOO--so I need to keep going to the gym or I will "outgrow" them). Not that I've really been going to the gym religiously. I still hate it, and I haven't had time much during the past few weeks. The writing assessment is over on Tuesday and I will be proceeding directly to Rosie's after school that day for a Mambo Taxi. Brandy/Denise/Susanna/Anyone else interested: you are invited to join in if you can! I'd love to see you guys!
I hope that Spring will be here soon. I don't know how much more hermit-inducing cold weather I can take. 3 weeks 'til spring break.
This week is Read Across America week, so it should be fun. I am going to dress up like Stargirl on Wednesday. Whoo hoo!
