My hair makes babies cry

I'm fixing to start college in a few months, and I'm looking for a way to keep my curl, and still have an easy, manageable hairstyle/regime/whatever. Unfortunately, my hair is the kind that you wear sunglasses around because the glare from the ammount of frizz could permanantly blind you. I want to wear my hair curly in college, but I need help,

You might benefit from trying the no-poo method. You'd have to get the book for learn the details but it's pretty much lots of conditioner, no shampoo, no products with chemicals in them that end in -cone. They suggest other things to wash your scalp with besides shampoo. Seems that frizz comes from stripping the healthy oils out of your hair in the shower & this method breaks that cycle.

Yeah, I second this. Before I had a clue, I always tied my hair back. And I brushed my hair too when it was dry, which was a big nono.

I dunno if anyone mentioned it, but the naturallycurly site also has salon reviews, so I've used that to find curly hair masters :D

Some haircuts can take away some of the bulk, and I think that would help a lot. Find a hair dresser who knows their way around curls.

i definitely agree with "goat" above me - never, ever brush your hair.
and yeah, you look like a great candidate for the no-poo method because your hair is sooo thick. i haven't used shampoo in over three years, and will never go back to it.
