It has been a tiring TT - rain showers meant delays, the rest days became contingency race days and there were quite a few days when I spent a lot more of the day at church than at home. Despite delays and damp, windy, weather only one of the competitors was injured enough to still be in hospital today, and three or four of those 45,000 visitors

Thank you! I have a small white board in my kitchen - and so i keep a tally of all the cakes I take as I take them down to church. Then, as it is my job to portion all the cakes that come in, and decide on prices, I know that everything baked in a 2lb loaf tin gives 10 portions, the tray bakes usually give 16 slices, depending on tin size, and so on :)

I keep a similar tally at church for all the cake going out to the counter which is how we know around how much cake we have sold altogether.
