Eurovision Semi 2.

I forgot to start a list of the 2nd semi of Eurovision. ETA - as I did on Tuesday I will ** the ones that get through.

So far -

San Merino** - actually not bad, complete with imported rapper.

Estonia - pleasantly forgettable

Czech Republic - similarly forgettable but shinier.

I usually do a post like this on Finals evening too - with comments very welcome. epiphyta usually manages to watch live over outside Seattle and join me here, and a couple of others drop in too. It does mean the comments threads are confusing - but very good fun!

Feel free to read along even if you can't cope with actually watching :)

It isn't as much a matter of not being able to cope with the actual watching; I don't even know if Hungarian TV is showing them at all. German TV probably does, just not on any channel that comes in through my satellite dish. *g*

And I'm really sad about not being able to join you this year. Our friends don't even have TV service hooked up on their mountaintop. And we'll probably be sitting around munching and chatting at that time.

I feel sorry for the Iceland family of singers as I don't think they will be allowed onto the stage in person - but if the fairies went on instead I reckon they'd definitely win :)

Oops, forgot to watch the semi finals. Looks as if I haven´t missed much. And since I will have Elsa to take care of on Saturday I fear I will not be spirited enough to watch the grand finale!

There was less extravagant costuming in this semi. The whole thing is not quite as over-the-top as usual, but it will doubtless still be good fun.
