So - Ukraine won the Eurovision Song Contest, to nobody's surprise. But actually the song wasn't bad, and would probably have been in the top ten anyway. I read an article pointing out that it will piss President Putin off even more than you might expect as it was a song that was a collaboration between Ukrainian Traditional musicians and modern ( Read more... )

Today we have been to the Airport for our second vaccinations - they were given to us by the recently retired Head of Midwifery. She says she is really enjoying doing this as she is meeting so many people she know :) So far we are both ok ( Read more... )

Estonia - pleasantly forgettable

Czech Republic - similarly forgettable but shinier.

The Eurovision special was not too bad, but actually hearing all the songs would have been better.
