Yup! He did the Gurren Lagann soundtrack before Soul Eater, and I heard somewhere that he was probably chosen for Soul Eater because of his work for GL too.

I watched it a couple of years ago!
His scores did seem a bit familiar to me, now I understand why. ^^

I really like that third one. Again, I've been into Indian, Middle Eastern, etc music lately.
Why's there a Bollywood film called Lagaan and a song called Ishq Kamina. Viral is a name of Indian descent.
Yeah I'm still looking forward to hearing the full soundtrack, though. Hurry up internet grrr.

I like world music, so it doesn't bother me, I just don't think it really works for the show itself (which is why I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't use it). I really want to hear more of the second half, though. :D

(Well, maybe it would work for Enki Durga.)

I can say the third one isn't to bad for Gurren Lagann, it gives it more of a edge I think. Middle Eastern music rocks hard... I think I'll like this track when it comes out. COME ON INTERNETZ >__

To be honest, I really like all the three tracks even if they aren't in their complete version (but I liked anything Iwasaki composed so far, so maybe I'm... bieased in a positive way? XD ).
