Gah, that was so sad. And so incredibly real in a sense. You can totally see this happening if Rachel never followed her dreams and instead married Puck, no matter how in love with him she may have been at the time.

Not sure if you plan to, but would love to see a sequel if you did! =)

awesome work!

No sequel planned, but I do have two more Puck/Rachel fics to finish for help_haiti, so maybe they'll help?

That was really lovely and featured a believable progression for the characters ( ... )

I am so relieved that you like this. I am still very sorry I didn't send the draft to you first, because it's the kind of subject matter that could go either way - I struggled to be as sensitive with it as possible.

I really am better with the lame pickup lines than with angst, I think. :)

I really loved this. Beautiful angst, but without being over-the-top and hard-hitting angst; as great as that can be, I agree with psychme that these two are more about the small frequent hits than clobbering ones. And you did this so beautifully - I especially loved how you showed us the scenes out of order; it emphasised the decline of the relationship.

Also loved the (incredibly sad) comparison to the Schuesters at the beginning. Very possible that Rach could end up like Will if her Broadway dreams were somehow dampened. And I love your take on Puck's grown up career; from pool boy to plumber, lol!

The ending was perfect, just the right amount of hope without the promise of a happy ending. I love realism in fics, and yours are always great.

Not that big of a stretch, right? Plus it's Ohio. Pools can only be used maybe four months out of the year. :P

Thanks for reading! I'm glad you liked it.
