1. I've really wanted to get my new niece a bit of wall art with the following A.A. Milne quote: "You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think." I can't find one that goes with her nursery decor, however, which is sort of kitschy-cartoon-jungle themed. I'd love to have a color photoprint of the quote, maybe along the lines of your Ambrosia menu - I can send photos of the nursery mural, if that would give you some ideas. (Also the idea of giving that to her at Christmas and telling her parents "my friend who is an artist made that for us!" makes me all squee inside.)
2. I'd also like to pick your brain about tattoo art, because I kind of know what I want but not really, and I can't draw for crap so I haven't been able to doodle till I come up with what I want. I've found a few on the Intertubes that are close, but not close enough I just want to copy them.
1) I'll email the nursery photos in a second. ...I'm thinking "feel free to interpret these not at all literally," because they are far less to my personal taste, and also far less like your usual brilliance, than I remember. :P
At this point, I'm not too worried about having the piece ready by Christmas morning, seeing as I have all of two very short weeks until then. My niece is only four months old, so she won't know, and my brother- and sister-in-law will likely be thrilled no matter when I drop it off. "Before the end of January" would be fine.
I was thinking maybe this general style, but I regularly second-guess my own artpinions, so let me know what you think. :)
2) I'll send the tattoo pics separately. I have to remember where I put them, lol.
