Once the jail was up and running again, Jon was more than happy to do what he could to help interrogate the scientists.. but then there were others with far more reason (and ability, considering his scrawny teenaged body) to beat the crap out of the afore-mentioned bastards. That and he'd become uncharacteristically quiet over the last couple of days, not wanting to let anything slip out accidentally. It was bad enough that he actually understood some of what McKay was talking about during the repairs, though his mind still appeared to be his own

"Ethan Rom is not a suspect," Scott answered first, his voice tight with anger. "We already know what he's done."
"He puts the mindfuck into Mindfuck Island," Jon nodded wryly. The girls had been unanimous in their accusations against Ethan. "Hides it well, but he's probably derentis."
Aiden's curious look had Jon panicking, running over the words he'd used in his head, but yet again he couldn't see where (or if) the switch had been made. Either that or she was questioning the fact that he thought Ethan was nuts. Jon didn't wasn't about to open his mouth again in order to ask.
Instead he rattled the keyboard in front of him, bringing up a recording of Locke's session on another monitor. The pair watched carefully, Scott's body language dangerous while Aiden seemed to maintain some emotional separation from the events on-screen.
For his part, Jon stared at the wall numbly. How the fuck did I know how to do that?

The Doctor walked into the ‘observation’ building and nodded to Daniel and Jon. He looked over their shoulders at the view screens. He saw Aiden, Scott, and what he’d recently learned was Kenzaki, ‘interviewing’ Rom.
“He likes to play games. Any reaction, especially a negative one will be perceived as power to him. It means he’s managed to manipulate them and gain some kernel of control. His kind loves control. Thrive on it. Anyone goin’ in there has to keep that in mind. Any loss of control, violent or upset reaction will be seen as a point to him in his idea of this game.”
He double checked the wiring, making sure Rodney had assured this facility was also independent. No outside feeds or bugs. No remote signals to let others view what was going on here.
He motioned down the hall a bit. “Mind if I have a go at Doctor Sato Saki? She’ll know the most about the physical aspects of whatever they were trying to achieve.”

"Help yourself, Doctor," Daniel nodded. He clapped Jon on the shoulder, "I think that it's all under control in here. I have smaller fish to fry."
Jon frowned. "Um, Daniel? I think it's 'bigger fish.' Yeah, 'bigger fish.' I'm a fishing enthusiast. Trust me."
"And I'm the linguist," Daniel grinned. "I meant, smaller fish. It's actually pretty amazing what the little people know and are willing to share when given the proper . . . encouragement."
"You mean the guards and nurses?"
Daniel touched his nose. He looked back at the monitors and frowned thoughtfully. "Just keep an eye on Scott, okay? He's a little close to the subject, and we don't want him getting carried away until we have what we need."

"Carried away, bad," he agreed, watching the screen as Burn took care of the situation. "'Encouraging,' good. Got it. Though it's kinda weird to hear you say that."
Daniel shrugged, as did Jon in response. A lot had happened over the last decade.
"Burn can obviously handle herself, Kenzaki's all scarified.. and if that fails, I've got this little number," the teenager continued, patting his Wraith stunner happily. "I'll keep an eye on the Doc there too. Scott's not the only one who's close to the subject."

The Doctor waited until the barrier was dropped before stepping into the room where Dr. Sakai was ‘housed’. The rooms were not exactly comfortable, but he could honestly say he’d been in worse. He had a pretty extensive knowledge of the inside of jail/prison cells from one end of the universe to the other. At least there was a shelf to sit and lay down on… made of rock not covered in moss and some sort of green mold in the one corner

Jon tapped Ethan's smug visage on the monitor. "So you're a walking lie detector? More reliable than a machine I hope, because those things can be beaten."
Scott swallowed nervously, acutely aware of Daniel's presence in the room. (Get a grip,) he told himself. (The damage is done. No one's threatening me. For Christ's sake, they know I can heal -- or hurt -- people.) He forced himself to look the clone(!) in the eye. "Not a lie detector, per se. I'm empathic. Being able to feel others' emotions gives you a good idea if someone's lying. It's not 100%, but better than a machine, I guess."
Scott took the presented opportunity to escape the nerve-racking conversation. "Good idea. I'll walk back to the bunker with you." After giving Jon, Daniel, and warrior-Kenzaki a goodbye nod, he followed Aiden out into the jungle.

"Let me take a crack at him." she chimed in. "I'll get something outta him." she said simply, smirking.

"I'm not one for a recap." she stood. "I'm gonna go get some sleep before I pass out."
