Aiden arrived in time to hear most of John and Scott's conversation. She leaned against the doorway and eavesdropped.

"Let me take a crack at him." she chimed in. "I'll get something outta him." she said simply, smirking.

Once the jail was up and running again, Jon was more than happy to do what he could to help interrogate the scientists.. but then there were others with far more reason (and ability, considering his scrawny teenaged body) to beat the crap out of the afore-mentioned bastards. That and he'd become uncharacteristically quiet over the last couple of days, not wanting to let anything slip out accidentally. It was bad enough that he actually understood some of what McKay was talking about during the repairs, though his mind still appeared to be his own ( ... )

"Ethan Rom is not a suspect," Scott answered first, his voice tight with anger. "We already know what he's done."

"He puts the mindfuck into Mindfuck Island," Jon nodded wryly. The girls had been unanimous in their accusations against Ethan. "Hides it well, but he's probably derentis."

Aiden's curious look had Jon panicking, running over the words he'd used in his head, but yet again he couldn't see where (or if) the switch had been made. Either that or she was questioning the fact that he thought Ethan was nuts. Jon didn't wasn't about to open his mouth again in order to ask.

Instead he rattled the keyboard in front of him, bringing up a recording of Locke's session on another monitor. The pair watched carefully, Scott's body language dangerous while Aiden seemed to maintain some emotional separation from the events on-screen.

For his part, Jon stared at the wall numbly. How the fuck did I know how to do that?

Ethan was irritated. Bleeding, in pain, and irritated. What was taking Carlson so fucking long? With DHARMA's resources the freaks and geeks who foolishly thought they were winning could easily be overpowered. After spitting more blood from his mouth, Ethan resumed planning ways to push the cripple's buttons. The geezer was so easily played it almost wasn't enjoyable ( ... )

"Besides we're not in the U.S. I doubt we're even any place that's been mapped. So let's start with in easy question, how did you and your companions get here?"

Although Scott was relieved that Aiden had dismissed Ethan's announcement with a joke, he was still livid with the prisoner. Since John's session with Ethan had been recorded, presumably this one was, too. Jon was most likely watching from the control room, so Scott's secret was out of the bag and likely to be shared with Daniel and therefore the U.S. Air Force. Paranoia returned with a vengeance ( ... )

KENZAKI ENTERS

Kenzaki, having arrived a bit late due to some miscommunication, strode in to the bunker. He was in full Scarab Undead form, but thankfully, everybody here knew who he was. He observed the action in the room, and made a motion to Jon-kun to let him in. Once Jon-kun let down the force field, he strode forward, intending to let his form aid in the interrogation.

(OOC: I can't remember if Scott or Aiden knows about Kenzaki's other form, but hopefully Daniel or Jon warned them that the big bad monster is on their side so they won't be confused)

It was one thing to have heard about this alternative form that Kenzaki could wear, quite another to see the thing: more menacing than a Jaffa in full kit, even if the guy was a pussycat underneath. At least that's what he seemed like.

Jon thumbed the intercom. "Hey Rom! Thought we'd treat you to someone else's 'amazing powers' since you're so keen on them, ok? Scott, Aiden, it's Ken. Friendly. To you."

He grinned at the Japanese monster, thumbs up. "Walk on through, buddy. I'll drop the shield when you're closer."

Daniel was still recovering from Ethan's pronouncement of Scott's half-alien parentage and nearly missed the look on Jon's face as Kenzaki made his entrance. It wasn't often that he got to see Jon look completely shocked.

His mind turned back to Scott being half-alien. (That explains a lot,) Daniel mused and a million thoughts and questions followed on the heels of that one. He pushed them aside; those questions could wait until they were done with Ethan ... and the rest of the scientists.

Then the huge armored figure stomped into the room. Surprise rippled across Scott's emotionless void. Kenzaki -- thankfully it felt like Kenzaki -- looked like a cross between a Power Ranger and one of the orcs from the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy. Scott had heard about Kenzaki having an alternate form but... wow. "Konichiwa, Kenzaki-san," Scott said.

Ethan barked a nervous laugh. "You can't be serious," he muttered. Although his body language said indifference, Scott felt his fear and astonishment. He turned to Aiden to see her reaction.
