Of all the times for my father to show up, when I was dancing around the house serenading Novalis to "What's New Pussycat?" was one of those times I would have preferred advanced notice. Instead, the cab pulled up with me none the wiser and him catching the 'moment' on video. This does not bode well.

You learn a lot when living with a kitten like Novalis. For example, ignoring the small clawed creature is not a good idea. Also, do not put anything you don't want chewed on or that you might deem important someplace where the kitten may be able to climb to.
