I am so ridiculously happy that Thanksgiving is over. I think if my father had been here even one more hour I would have exploded. On his last day here, literally about an hour before he was heading to the airport, we had a huge fight

Your father is intimidating... I almost wanted to tell him who I am, just to feel like I had some authority... he really knows how to dominate situations...

It will be, he just pretty much threw my past in my face.

I know he is, and believe me it's better off he doesn't know. He's very good at seeming quiet and unassuming, but he's quite the master of the one strike kill - verbal strike but still potent enough.

It's not, and even worse was that he cut down all my reasons before I could express them.

No, not literal. My father has never killed, not even in the line of duty, though he has a wickedly sharp tongue.
