About Linden and Holder - I honestly never interpreted it like that? I mean, when you put it like that, it sounds like they're telling us something but I really hope not because I really love their dynamic the way it is ( ... )

See, his offering her to come over, and her actually coming over after missing the ferry and the almost comic/awkwardness that happened when she was there, isn't really the thing that makes me think there might be something more to it. I could see those things happening either way, even as a shipper.

What makes me feel like there's something more, that the storytellers are trying to tell us something, is her reaction to Bullet's comment and to a lesser extent her reaction to him inviting her over. They could just be showing us that Linden is uncomfortable with the idea of them because she trusts him in a completely platonic way. But usually moments like these aren't written into the script if the writers don't want you to at least wonder if there's something else going on in terms of Linden's feelings about the matter ( ... )

Ha, it might also be just me having an obsession with good male/female friendships that such moments don't really jump out at me, but I agree that it does look like they're trying to tell us something.
I don't know though, I've always seen it as Linden seeing that Skinner has a family, Holder is happy, and she has nothing but troubles in her own. She tries to find companionship in Holder but remembers then oh wait, he has someone and I'm just in the way whereas before he didn't and she could always come to him without feeling she was interrupting him/them. She's always had him to herself before and this is something she's not used to yet.
I've definitely seen other people saying like 'are they hinting at...?' so I might just be getting things wrong. :P I'm so, so curious how the season is going to develop though. I am incredibly glad this gem of a show didn't stay cancelled.

The thing is - it'd be extra tragic if Bullet dissapears (and dies) en afterwards they end up finding Kallie alive after all.

Another great episode!

I read all the Holder/Linden stuff the same way you did, though I fully admit that my shipper bias makes me read it differently than non-shippers might have. But even so, I do think they were trying to tell us something with those moments. And if it's not lead-up to Holder/Linden, it might be foreshadowing of Linden finding love/going back to one of her ex's out of loneliness.

TERRIFIED that something awful is going to happen to Bullet. Possibly tied into Kallie maybe not being dead? Like, if Bullet gets some kind of sign/message that Kallie's still alive and goes after her without telling Holder + Linden, I could see her falling into the killer's hands.

Just watched World War Z yesterday, and now, I can't help imagine zombies invading Seattle. Also, there's this kickass character that Bullet is totally gonna grow up to be.

i don't generally see the holder/linden, but bullet's comment did make me wonder if the show was hinting at it. (and aside from anything else, i really loved her and linden's conversation. and holder saying "in the back! always in the back" was adorable. i like bullet a lot and i really hope nothing happens to her.) i thought linden's reaction to finding caroline at holder's place was "i'm interrupting a private couple moment and this is awkward" more than anything else, tho.

i don't have the first clue who the killer is. joe mills is way too obvious but i don't have any other suspects. i'm enjoying trying to figure it out, tho.

The Killing is so stinking pretty.

I don't think he's the main suspect because everyone is so shady, but I think Francis Becker does even more things than abuse his family. He says he's working when he doesn't have a shift. That's either adultry or SERIAL KILLER behavior.

Bullet tears my heart out, stomps on it, then apologizes, and neatly puts it back in every episode.

The way Linden awkwardly ate the spaghetti stuff was hilarious during Holder's Valentine's Day Massacre. OMG, Emmy for spaghetti eating.
