About Linden and Holder - I honestly never interpreted it like that? I mean, when you put it like that, it sounds like they're telling us something but I really hope not because I really love their dynamic the way it is.
I think Linden coming over was just because of her running into Skinner and his family and she just felt alone and decided that she could go to Holder since he'd invited her anyway (and with it being so late, and she still had to take the ferry? or sth). She was surprised at Caroline being there because she forgot (she'd only seen her once before).
And the Valentine's Day thing was just 'are u srs Holder, get me outta here', I guess. Like an eyeroll away. :p I thought it was great!

The thing that scares me about Bullet though - I think they're setting it up that something's going to happen to her later on. What with Joel saying Holder was going to go down a dark path this season, plus the talk about the scars because that might be what'll be used to identify her later on? I really, really hope it doesn't happen, but I have a feeling it will.

And I looooooove the hoodie! But tbh, I'm not really much of a suits-fan :P

See, his offering her to come over, and her actually coming over after missing the ferry and the almost comic/awkwardness that happened when she was there, isn't really the thing that makes me think there might be something more to it. I could see those things happening either way, even as a shipper.

What makes me feel like there's something more, that the storytellers are trying to tell us something, is her reaction to Bullet's comment and to a lesser extent her reaction to him inviting her over. They could just be showing us that Linden is uncomfortable with the idea of them because she trusts him in a completely platonic way. But usually moments like these aren't written into the script if the writers don't want you to at least wonder if there's something else going on in terms of Linden's feelings about the matter.

I have a feeling you might be right about Bullet as much as I hate to admit it. I could see that happening, even though I am crossing my fingers it doesn't. I feel like maybe if Bullet disappears, the resolution of the season could be them saving Bullet and finding the killer in one fell swoop. I'm an optimist!

ETA: Actually, saving Bullet (or Kallie) could finally give Linden the resolution that she's been needing this whole time (what was that quote from the therapist's office? "They're dead. They don't need my help."?) And if Bullet does disappear, the search for her could very well be the dark path that Holder is supposed to go through.

Ha, it might also be just me having an obsession with good male/female friendships that such moments don't really jump out at me, but I agree that it does look like they're trying to tell us something.
I don't know though, I've always seen it as Linden seeing that Skinner has a family, Holder is happy, and she has nothing but troubles in her own. She tries to find companionship in Holder but remembers then oh wait, he has someone and I'm just in the way whereas before he didn't and she could always come to him without feeling she was interrupting him/them. She's always had him to herself before and this is something she's not used to yet.
I've definitely seen other people saying like 'are they hinting at...?' so I might just be getting things wrong. :P I'm so, so curious how the season is going to develop though. I am incredibly glad this gem of a show didn't stay cancelled.

The thing is - it'd be extra tragic if Bullet dissapears (and dies) en afterwards they end up finding Kallie alive after all.
