Apparently I decided to actually check my flist at the perfect time. All thanks to one of those annoying pingback bot notification thingies. This is a good reason to break my hiatus.

found your name in the list! #3 :) somehowunbroken January 7 2011, 03:30:43 UTC
They're on the run, and all Ronon can think is that he's sworn off running, never wanted to run like this again. But the Wraith had come silently, with some sort of new technology that had let them creep up to Atlantis with the stealth of an mpertulu - and their strike had been much the same; quick, merciless, devastating. So now they're running, sleeping in shifts, looking over their shoulders as they try to find anyone else who might have survived, might have somehow escaped ( ... )

Oh this is lovely and sweet and sad. I love the idea of the two of them on the run like this. You have made my night. (My week, my year!)

What is this awesomeness?

Holy crap. I admit that while I do love this pairing it is not always written to my liking but this? This is beyond perfection. (How is this so perfect?) Gah.

*draws hearts all around*

Thank you so much.

Oh my goodness.
Ditto to what KC said! This is amazing.
This line in particular really struck me:

"I've always been yours, River," he reminds her. There was no giving involved. They were born this way..

Just beautiful!

She’s like a kid in a candy shop, each new building a different sugary treat. They found the place completely by accident, which is how you always find the best things in life. It’s a lesson that Claire’s taught him well.

He wonders what it was that made everyone leave this place. He doesn’t ask the question out loud. To her, this isn’t about the abandonment, it’s about the beauty that existed before.

She makes up lives as she walks in and out of houses, stores, diners. She knows where all the cool kids would’ve hung out. She knows where she would’ve hung out. It’s not the same place, but she seems pleased with that ( ... )

TVD; Stefan/Caroline, apocalypse, isolation, ghost town, PG-13, an act of faith against the night ozmissage January 9 2011, 16:37:42 UTC
Stefan had hoped he would never live to see this day.

(He had hoped it would never come.)

The world has gone to hell and for the lucky, for the living this is the end.

But Stefan is not alive, hasn’t been for decades, so he persists along with the other monsters, the other devils, he persists along with her.

Caroline takes his hand, knitting her fingers through his, a reminder that he is not alone. Not yet.

“We could go somewhere else,” she says. “I bet the beaches in Miami are totally empty now.”

Only Caroline could find a silver lining in the apocalypse.

Stefan stares at the sign, tipped over and cracked, letters faded---Welcome to Mystic Falls“We’re where we need to be,” he says and Caroline tightens her grip on his hand ( ... )
